What more can you ask for when the local council operates this kind of waterpark for the kids! And the adults! This supervised park which is open free to the public was something our kids looked forward to during our stay at Urangan. It is just the right size so that the parents can sit and relax in the spacious... More

TOP spot, right on the waterfront. Plenty of shade for the parents to supervise. The kids love running through the water spouts and playing on the waterslide structure. Our two and six year olds had a wonderful time. Even on a hot, busy day, there is still room to move.

We've been to the water park each time we visit Hervey Bay & have always loved it. This time my 6 year old daughter was walking around the deck area & got a huge splinter (3cm long) in the ball of her foot - staff couldn't get it out, we couldn't so off to hospital! According to staff it happens... More

We spent a week in the van park just near Wetside and visited nearly every day. The kids loved it and never wanted to leave. Supervisors were brilliant, particularly when it was busy, keeping the large slide operating fairly and smoothly. Great facilities (coffee shop, fish & chips, general store) nearby also which only adds to the attraction. Only downside... More

This water park is great for kids from 2-12. There is a couple of cafes right next door for coffee Coke lunch etc. the water as you can only expect was a little cold for our 2 year old but it was a fun 20mins any way. Opens at 10am and not a second earlier.

This place is great for young children and as its free its great for families. On the busier times its probably best to bring your own chairs as it can get packed on hot days. Theres several food options within the park where you can get drinks etc. Theres not much there for older children though. It would be great... More

Just love this place, we were here just after Christmas, over the New Year period and the day we came here it was just lovely, wasn't too busy, easily got a seating area, the kids loved playing in the water, so did the big kids, a great day for the family and its all free!

We were in Hervey Bay for our Christmas/New Years holiday, and even though we were staying at a lovely resort - the kids love this the best! Absolutely free of charge. Lovely, clean changing facilities and heaps of places for parents to sit and supervise their children. Also a lovely shop to buy drinks and souvenirs from if you need.
