This place is great if you have small kids (max 7 year olds) anything older than this and they are going to be bored. There is a splash bucket, a small slide and some water jets/fountains. Try it, you might like it!

Whilst on a visit to Hervey Bay, the family went to this attraction so the youngest in the group could have a splash. The area features fountains, a large bucket that fills with water then tips, a small water slide and a nice shaded area with seating. On the day that we were there: at least 150 people were using... Looked great for under 5 year olds only. Would be great if they had facilities for older children too.

The water park at Hervey Bay is a must do for all families. the kids ask to go there every time we visit the area. Its free to visit and easy to supervise the kids. Great fun for both adults and kids. Take a picnic and a chair and chill out on the deck under the huge tree. The kids... More

Free water play at the beach even when the tide's out. A splash pool, fountains, info about water safety and usage, cafe. Fun for all ages.

For a fun day this is a really nice small water park. Located overlooking the beach. It's free entry and has lockers, plenty of seating areas as well as a café. It's got some interactive and teaching facts about water which adds to it's appeal.

I take my grandchildren here each time they visit, it is fun safe and it is free. this is a council owned complex, it is a great location, children can have a great time whilst parents can relax in the shade overlooking the bay. The only down side for me is there isn't any catering facilities which I believe is... More

A variety of water activities and sprays on the waterfront, however needs to expand as it gets very congested in peak and holiday periods. Desperately needs the café/kiosk be revamped and reopened, can't even buy an ice cream or sandwich there. I would like to see this entire area grow, with eating facilities, more attractions! Come on Fraser Coast Council... More

A "zero-depth" water park - so no swimming, but cool-off and get wet safely under the numerous fountains and water jets, the tipping bucket, and kids play areas. Its all on soft-fall so its safe, and it's administered by the council. The timber decks, cover the area and provide seated rest-up, and interconnecting walkways from area to area - and... More
