It has been a real joy to swim with seals as they were ready to come around and curiosity beeing too strong to meet us and play with us. I appreciated the nice welcoming, the professionnalism and security provided. l'm not a good swimmer but I felt secure and encouraged by the team. The confort was also a concern for... More

Our group of 8 had a great morning swimming with the seals. The weather was perfect, the seals were active - and the snowcapped mountains provided a great backdrop. We were warned that the water may be a bit cold, but the wetsuits worked well, and nobody noticed anyway - we were all enthralled with wildlife. There were up to... More

This was the most memorable thing we did, it was great to get in the water with seals in the wild and have them come to check you out and play, We turned up on the day and luckily they had space, the price was very reasonable and the group was small. The seals were so much fun, and seemed... More

This was one of many amazing trips we did in NZ. Lucky for us the bad weather forecast and a big swell at sea meant that we were the only two on our trip but unlike other excursions we tried to do, they didn't make excuses and cancel, they gave us the benefit of their full knowledge and attention. Showers,... More

This was the best thing we did in New Zealand, better even than swimming with the dolphins. Everyone we spoke to said how fantastic this was and we weren't let down. Really close encounter with large numbers of seals and really professional, knowledgable family run business. Good equipment and a nice hot shower when you're finished. It was such a... More

Our 8 year old daughter is obsessed with seals and sealions, so we finished our family holiday in NZ with a trip to Kaikoura, just so that she could swim with the seals. We were a little worried that it might be an anti-climax but it far exceeded expectations. Seal Swim is a small, family run business, extremely professional and... More

It was an Adventure - and even possible with an 5years old boy. They had swim Suits and mask also for Children. And if the Kids do not feel comfortable, they get a swim Board. We saw the seals quite close ( 1 meter) in the water - they were all around us. After the swim we got some warm... More

Excellent staff. If it's a bad day to swim, they give you a refund or you can do it again the next day. If its still not a good day, they give you 90 or 95% refund. Very honest. When I did the seal swim, we got into the boat, but when we got to the colonies, they seals wore... More

Being guest in nature. Swimming with wild animals in the pacific ocean. What an experience! @all: The condition of their equipment is quite well. They´ve a lot of different diving suits for male & female, diffent sizes ... and warm showers :-) And I got a diving goggle with special lenses - perfect! We felt safe during the hole trip... More
