Experience of a life time, regardless if you got in the water or not, standing at the front of boat and watching is extrodinaraily breathtaking, watching the dolphins zip around and watching them weave through the others people in the water is amazing. Next time and there will be a next time, il be in the water making funny noises... More

So where do I start, alright first a few advice for people going to Kaikoura for this tour. As I read many review before I would strongly advice anyone going to Kaikoura to do any of the wildlife tour to stay at least 3 nights here as the weather during the winter is quite unpredictable. It will give you enough... More

I booked the dolphin swim and my boyfriend booked the dolphin watch, we both absolutely loved it. Customer service is brilliant from booking at the service desk to the equipment fitting, bus journey and the whole time on the boat, thanks everyone. There was a sea sickness warning so I got tablets from the pharmacy as I get travel sickness... More

Me and my friend came through the area and was very excited about seeing dolphins up close. Unfortunately on the day of the adventure the weather didn't cooperate with us so the trip got cancelled. I believe it would have been anything but ordinary, a dream come true but as we didn't have any more time, we never got to... More

I took my 2 daughters, 6 & 10 as my eldest loves marine life. We weren't disappointed- saw sperm whales, fur seals, albatross and a huge pod of dusky Dolphins. My kids had the best day of their lives. We travelled from kapiti on the North island and it was worth the trip!!! Happy!!!!

I just couldn't believe anyone could find a pod of dolphins big enough to allow people to swim with them for any amount of time without feeding them or "training" them or something. Now that I have seen it with my own eyes, I believe it. There had to be 200 dolphins in the pod we finally came across and... More

Probably one of the best activities I did!! It's such a privilege to swim with so many enthusiastic, curious and acrobatic dolphins. Even though the water was cold in the winter the experience and moment when you have 5 dolphins cruising around is just indescribable. We were lucky with the conditions and had a great afternoon. Swimming is quite tiring... More

If you are in Kaikoura, this is a must-do! What an amazing experience. The dolphins interact with you and react to your movements and noises. We encountered a very big pod and were able to get into the water several times. If you don't want to swim with the dolphins you can also stay on deck and enjoy their tricks... More

Major tip about swimming with dolphins - watch out for the wind and weather. We elected for an afternoon swim. By the time we were out at sea with the dolphins (a very choppy 45min boat-ride) only adults were allowed into the water and only for 10 minutes, because it got so rough that everyone were called back on board.... Travelling to Kaikoura was a stand-out experience on my New Zealand holiday. After arriving by tour bus at lunch time, we (tour group and I) set out for an afternoon cruise. Although it took some searching to find a dolphin pod it was incredibly exciting when we did. It was a real rush being so close to all the dolphins... More
