Swimming with dolphins was like a dream come true! Such a cool experience, and the staff both in the office and onboard the boat was exceptional. They were super nice, very informative and really knew how to handle that people get seasick out on the ocean (our trip the sea was pretty rough). We were lucky to find a lot... More

This was a real highlight of our June 2014 trip to New Zealand. There are no guarantees, but they seem to consistently find big groups of Dusky Dolphins in the bay, and the dolphins seem to really love interacting with people. This is a completely natural habitat (dolphins are in the wild), and they do not feed them. We were... More

There were at least 500 dolphins in the pod we swam with in January 2014, the experience was amazing! A must do for an animal lover! I had never snorkeled before, and can barely swim, but the wetsuits wont let you sink. Breathing was a little difficult though, and I spend a lot of the time catching my breath, but... More

Had a great time. My boyfriends foot was broken so we didn't swim with the dolphins but we were the only ones on the front of the boat and the dolphins were coming right up and jumping in front of us. Went on a gorgeous day and the water was turquoise with a mist rising over the mountains in Kaikoura.... More

We went swimming with dolphins mid-July. Of course this means winter, but we got thick wetsuits, with hoodies, gloves and socks. I wasn't cold in the water when I got over the intitial shock (took me a minute to get my breathing under control). Everything is organized very professionally and we found a big pod of dolphins. They are not... More

Today finally was the day we had been waiting for. After four days of cancellations due to heavy wind (and extending our stay in Kaikoura each night, because we really wanted to do this) we finally got to swim with dolphins!! And it was definitely² worth the wait and effort. It was a beautiful sunny day, we even spotted 2-3... More

We had a great time. We did a combo at turtle farm and dolphin encounter. Jonathan was a great host and really made us feel special.

Hi there and thanks for posting a review, with the mention of the turtle farm I wonder if you meant your posting for a company in Grand Cayman rather than us here in Kaikoura NZ? It would be wonderful if you could visit us here too someday! :-) More

The day I went was described as light to moderate swell. I certainly would not like anything more. I do get seasick but was reassured at booking. I had taken medication so was queasy but ok. We had to travel an hour to get to the dolphins but when we finally got there it was so worth it. Our guide... More

Words can not describe how it feels to swim with wild Dolphins in the 2.000 m deep, open water ... They are free, like they should be. Not kept in captivity, forced to interact with us humans when we want to. - Please NEVER contribute to that! - No, we had to travel miles, till the point where everybody on... More
