Went on one of the 12.30pm trips last week. Just the most incredible experience. An earlier trip had found a huge pod of dolphins so our skipper knew where to find them. We made 5 trips off the boat to swim with them, between each trip moving closer to the action. I'm an ok swimmer but complete novice snorkeller. Even... More

This was our first activity at Kaikoura and the only booking we could find available was the first session at the crack of dawn at 5:30am or so. Getting to the meet-up point was no problems, as we were staying at the local caravan park. The staff at reception were very friendly indeed and we got our wet gear and... More

This was one of the best experiences of my life and I'm not exaggerating. I have always wanted to swim with Dolphins and this was the place to do it. The boat dropped us off in the middle of the ocean and we swam with a pod of about 300 wild dolphins. It was an amazing experience. Coming face to... More

Absolutely amazing swimming with the dolphins! They come so close to you you feel like you are going to swim into them (but never do). Heaps and heaps of dolphins were present on my tour. The staff were amazing too. Great service, fun, knowledgeable and looked after people when they were sea sick. One thing I regret is taking pharmaceutical... More

Initially I was sceptical. Why snorkel when you can see them from the boat? Well the second we hit the water we were SURROUNDED by HUNDREDS, yes HUNDREDS of wild dusky dolphins. There is no baiting, they do nothing to attract them- they are just a super knowledgeable and professional crew who know how to find the enormous pods that... More

Swimming with dolphins is an inspiring experience. I am very prone to travel sickness and I knew I would probably be seasick. I was right. Nevertheless the experience was definitely worth it. The experienced staff know exactly where the dolphins are and we found them with ease. In the water the dusky dolphins are naturally curious and if you can... More

We hadn't booked in advance and were kicking ourselves because all the tours were fully booked, but they run a waitlist and we got a place because of that. All the staff are friendly and knowledgable from the booking desk to the boat crew and everyone in between. The equipment is in good condition and everything you need is provided.... More

Swimming with dolphins was one of the things on the bucket list, but we hadn't anticipated it being this good. We had 4 opportunities to get in and swim with a pretty large pod of dolphins. They swim around under you and at the side of you, close enough for you to really feel their presence but never even slightly... More

I did not expect to see so many dolphins when I made a booking. But, when I see dolphins all over the sea, I know it worth everything. NZ170 for swim & NZ90 for watching are not expensive at all. Here is the tip: Dolphins are looking for food in the morning and sleep in the mid of the day.... More
