We had an amazing day with dolphin encounters, swam really close to a pod of about 30 dolphins, totally in their natural habitat. Really surprised at how inquisitive the dusky dolphins were! The team on board were really great, felt totally at ease on the boat. Definitely recommend!!

Brilliant! Got to swim with dolphins in there natural habitat what more could you want. Took a couple of attempts and a fair bit of travel but well worth it. There ate no enclosures, they are not fed or trained. They are only there because they choose to be which is amazing.

This is an amazing way to get up close to dolphins in the wild. Unlike swimming with dolphins in captivity, you can't touch them (and there are no ethical issues), but the thrill of a chance encounter in the wild more than makes up for it. Of course, they are wild animals, and it's an ocean experience, so it depends... More

I didn't want to mess up their rating because of the policy. It was a very memorable trip and I would recommend it as a "must do" for everyone who goes to Kaikoura. My tour was scheduled in the early morning. The sun was shining bright and we found a huge pod of dolphins that was very interactive. The tour... More

Swimming with the dolphins was the most amazing experience. The water was pretty cold (12 degrees) because it was wintertime, but we got really good gear (wetsuit, gloves and scuba socks). You didn´t even think about the temperature of the water when you saw and swam with the dolphins! There were lots of them and when the pod of dolphins... More

This experience was awesome!! It was one of the very few places that gave us dry wet suits and enough to actually keep us warm in the water. We were welcomed by friendly enthusiastic staff, taken into a briefing room and were given all the instructions we needed before heading out to sea. The dolphins were everywhere! Every few minutes... I had a great time swimming with the Dolphins, saw Royal Albatross, Hector Dolphins...the worlds smallest and rarest, Dusky Dolphins, went out twice as the first trip we were not so lucky, to go out 2 times it only cost an extra $20! Second time we had the luck, really a must! rent a GoPro if you haven't got one... More

This trip was the highlight of a 17 day road trip that my friend and I did a few years ago. I should've reviewed right away but I am just getting into Trip Advisor. All I can say is if you have the chance to do this, DO IT! Do not hesitate just go for it. Wonderful trip, wonderful guides.... More
