I booked Kaikoura llama trekking for my husband and I having read the excellent TripAdvisor reviews. Unfortunately, we had picked a day when it poured with rain and visibility was poor. We decided to proceed, regardless, and were so pleased that we did. Although we got soaked through, it was a definite highlight of our holiday. Kevin was a very... More

This was a really fun trip and a great way to see the kaikoura peninsula. The llamas were mesmerizing (I really want some now!!) and behaved really well for the walk. As long as you followed the guidance given they were really relaxed - also were quite obliging for the photo opportunities!!

This is definitely worth doing! It's a great way to experience the main sights of Kaikoura whilst getting to know the llamas. If you like walking and love animals, then I can't imagine a better activity! We met up at the farm and were met by a friendly team who let us help herd the llamas and get them ready.... More

Think taking large dog for a walk. A relatively disobedient, though quite adorable, dog. Turning up a bit early due to serious excitement, we were warmly welcomed and talked through what to expect from the mornings adventure. We were put to work herding the llama, and we were soon on our way. Our guide was informative, friendly and really knew... More

The words of my 15 year old niece while she walked her Llama Sebastian! She was delayed on her arrival and these guys were very accomodating with my change requests. The groups was small which was great. The animals are very well cared for which is most important! The walk was relaxed, informative and fun. Would recommend to young and... More

I was not too keen on Llamas before my trek but now I love them. I took Sylvester for a walk (or he took me) and it was a lovely relaxing time. Llamas are such gentle, chilled out animals. I recommend the trek to everyone.

Joined for llama trekking is my precious memory in Kaikoura. My llama, Smokey is a bit naughty yet cute. The host shared her knowledge of llama with us during the trek. We had a good time with the farm. You must have a llama trekking when visiting Kaikoura^^
