This was an excellent walk from the seal colony around the bay and we walked up the hills and dropped down to the beach. The walk was relaxing - quite steep at the beginning and when dropping down to the beach a little steep getting back up to the walk way.

Breathtaking views! It's a great afternoon walk. Also, if you plan on seeing the seal colony, go at the beginning of low tide, walk across the bottom of the peninsula walk and you'll get loads of nice pictures of them!

Just did partial walk. Beautiful views. Be ready for lots of stairs but not really too bad. Views are worth the walk up

I started the walk at the seal colony and walked towards the other parking lot. The path is mainly grass and in some parts dirt road. There are informational signs along the way and great views the whole time. I especially loved seeing the snow-capped mountains behind the beach.

I can only add my support to the previous reviews. The walk is free, scenic and well-maintained. There is ample parking and also some food vans just before you reach the car park. Don't miss it if you're in the vicinity.

4 older people repeating the walk after many years--one very fit, 2 middling fit and one still getting over a fall some weeks before so all levels of fitness can do this walk--just take different times to do it in. The peninsular walk is free and well managed, great views out to sea and of the surrounding countryside.

Beautiful scenery, easy walking (a little uphill but not hard) and perfect weather. all in all a great day out.
