This is one of the best things I have ever done in my life!
My husband and I came up easter weekend. We were in the 12.30 - 3.30 group.
The guides were awesome!!!!
Only 10 mins into it, we had pod of bout 10 dolphins around us. We were given a choice to go one way that had seals...

Benign weather allowed us to enjoy the Kaikoura Peninsular to its utmost.
Being in Kaikoura for one day we were hopeful that we could get out on the water to see the spectacular scenery and wildlife. Matt was extremely helpful, assessing our ability levels and advising us of the best spots.
We appreciated that we could get on the water...

Being in Kaikoura for only one sunny day, we weren't sure which main activity to try and we are so glad we picked Kaikoura kayaking! The people we talked to when we rang up were really helpful and our personal kayak guide was relaxed, enthusiastic and great fun. They had booked in just one person for the tour when we...

I hate to be the first one to give this place a poor review but unfortunately I didn't get the experience I was under the impression I would get.
I initially went to this tour operator to enquire about hiring a kayak for the day as I have some experience kayaking and wanted to spend the day exploring the coastline...

Gutted! and hurt is how Tylar and I are left feeling about your review Natalia.
We bent over backwards to show you two a good time and are just left speechless after your comments on Trip Advisor.
14 people took part on the tour that afternoon all with mixed ability's and all but two paddlers told us at the end...

We had a brilliant time with Kaikoura Kayaks. Excellent friendly, super-informative guide. The equipment was well kept and comfortable. We felt safe the entire time, and saw some awesome panoramic views. We were taken to some really secluded spots where we saw all sorts of marine life. There were also seals galore. We watched a seal eat a jellyfish, and...

We had a fabulous time. Although March may have have not been the best time to see marine life, we did come across the Little Blue Penguins and the fur seals. It was good fun, with a great guide who really looked after us. We had a pre-water briefing and safety lesson, before we got going. The water was clear,...

We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of over 100 dusky dolphins which we kayaked around with for a long time. We also saw masses of krill, Little Blue Penguins, seabirds and NZ Fur Seals. Great pre-water briefing/safety lesson, all quality kayaking equipment supplied, all we needed to do was turn up with sunscreen and our water bottle filled!...

Had an incredible day and was lucky enough for me amongst a massive pod of dolphins. Saw fur seals and penguins too. The tour was very well organised and the gear was in great condition. Learnt a lot about the marine life, and for a first timer like me on a kayak, I would definitely recommend it to anybody.
A really enjoyable trip - great guide and really good seal watching. The highlight however was on the way back when we were able to kayak with a pod of playing dolphins. A wonderful experience and stunning photographs.
