Still remembered fondly much later.

What a great shop - so many things I'd have loved to have taken home! High quality items and whilst some were pricey, the workmanship is clear and makes items worth the price.

This shop was a great find! The artist who was manning the shop was very friendly. We ended up doing most of our NZ gift shopping here: rimu coasters and trivets and several pairs of greenstone earrings. When my wife later lost one of the earrings, the artist graciously arranged to send a replacement.

This shop was an excellent find for presentation, variety, price, and quality of locally made goods. The gentleman manning the sales counter was courteous and helpful. I am a very choosy shopper, whether for gifts or souvenirs, and this enterprise met my standards. Yes, I did purchase a lovely Rimu bowl for myself -- enough said!

This is a good spot to buy NZ gifts for the folks back home--things made of wool, crafted of NZ woods, glass, pottery. I don't know if items have been approved by a jury but they appeared to be given the quality. Prices are fairly reasonable too.

A great co-op of displayed local arts and crafts where you can buy authentic souvenirs. Service was good too - friendly and informative. Recommended

We stopped here to replace a hand painted silk scarf bought by a friend of ours ten years ago. The lady in charge is the same person and was able to sell us a similar scarf and a few for my wife. A lovely lovely place. Well worth a detour of highway six.

This is a must see when you're in Hokitika. It's a great place to buy some very nice and well priced souvenirs. There is a range of wood products along with paintings, great wooden bookmarks and jewellery. The staff are fabulous as well.
