We went on the caving walk in tour and had an amazing time! We had a small group which was great, our tour guide Scott was knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable on the tour, but most of all, he was fun and had a sense of humour! The walk in was probably the most challenging part, requiring us to... More

What an amazing day! From slogging through the heat in a full wetsuit, slopping through the mud surrounded by amazing natural forest, squeezing through nooks and crannies in caves, tubing down the worlds most beautiful river, sliding down a muddy hill squealing with glee, roaring at a taniwha, meeting the worlds most amazing gloworms and being hand fed chocolate in... Great family adventure. I have two young girls (12+10) and we couldn't stop smiling. Friendly staff and everything you could need is provided. I highly recommend this adventure.

We booked this trip purely for the glow worms as we had not seen any on our trip so far. On the day I was regretting the decision as it was raining, however you are provided with lots of warm gear to wear - and get a hot chocolate in the glow worm cave. My husband and I were very... More

A great trip and they thought of everything! From the hot chocolate in the cave, to the muscle soak in the hot tub at the end. All with a sense of humour. The trip was perfect for our group as we had adrenaline junkies and scaredy cats but they managed to cater for all our needs with an optional cliff... More

Excellent route lots to see and the guides were very knowledgeable. The glow worm cave was brilliant and the jacuzzi on return a nice addition.

Pete & his team did the best they could with our group of mixed abilities. However the shed, wet suits, bus trip & spa afterwards were all of low quality. They would do well to upgrade facilities & equipment. The experience was the same price as the Shotover Jetboat at Queenstown but much harder work & not nearly as fun.

Hi Leanne, Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you were disappointed with our facilities. I agree that our building is on the rustic side and we monitor how people feel about it. We could rebuild it or move to more salubrious premises but we would then have to charge more as the expenses would be a lot more... More

The marvelously muddy forest hike, tantalizing tubing, and captivating cruise through the cave was a delightful addition to our trip to NZ. Although we were disappointed that the zipline option was out of commission, there were enough pleasant surprises along the way that was quickly forgotten. Our guide, Jono, was a friendly and informative presence who was also a generous... More

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We really appreciate it! We're really glad you had a great time despite the water being low for your trip, and the zip-line not being available. (It's not out of commission, it's just that we need minimum numbers to run it as it takes an extra guide). If... More
