Even on a drizzly winter day these falls were worth the very short walk to view and to enjoy the stunning native bush surrounding them on the circuit track. The track got a bit muddy in the wet but wasn't slippery. For those less mobile, great views can still be had just a hundred metres from the carpark. Definitely take... More

So the best thing about this one is how easy it is to get to. It's certainly not as spectacular as the harder to reach ones but it's still impressive. Park up, pop down and carry on, it's worth the five minutes!

What a beautiful walk - and right in the city. We didn't expect to find beautiful water falls right in the city. The park and path are well maintained and easy to navigate.

My group of friends decided to walk from the TOP 10 park via the trail. After 4 and a half hours, we finally arrived. Worth the time though! It is probably one of the best falls in NZ. If you are brave and daring enough, you can walk up to the rocks closer to the falls. And if you are... More

Well worth a visit if you like bush walks snd waterfalls. 10 minute circular walk to area at base of falls well worth doing for stunning photos, then a flat half hour walk to A H Reid reserve with large kauri and another waterfall. Although council try to keep maintenance up on paths they can get uneven with bad weather.... More

A great walk down to the base of the falls. It is a nice easy walk with stairs in the right places! Walk down one side then back up the other. Highly recommend it. Seeing NZ/s green scenery in the city.

Thank God for the liaison guy stationed at the car-park entrance because the way we read the maps would have taken us the longest way ever to the falls. The walk was great the weather was awesome and the reward was a total payoff. we sat and had some lunch on the bank with our feet in the water. On... More

Excellent day trip. Kids loved it. Nice and easy walk to the base of the waterfall and back up. Very picturesque and peaceful. We ate lunch at the block of shops just up the road. Would suggest taking a picnic or buying fish and chips and eating them at one of the picnic tables. Public toilets also nice and clean.
