We enjoyed our afternoon, the pools were relaxing and they also had a large pool sized jumper to rebounding. They sold refreshments and had numerous areas for picnicking.

Stayed at Miranda Hot Springs and Holiday Park although it has been the most expensive Park we have stayed in $50.00 per night on a powered site ,the Use of the Hot mineral pool which is free and the facilities ,Kitchen ,Toilets,Showers and Laundry were absolutely spotless makes the fee insignificant ,one of the nicest places to spend a couple... This place is fabulous for people of all ages. The main pool is monstrous, and deep in parts and thermally heated, so is great for day or night soaking and swimming, or summer or winter. There is a separate very hot pool for adults only. Good picnic areas around the pool, with grassed lawn, and a couple of great options... More

We have been to Miranda Hot Pools many times over the years. Its not a place we go to often as its a bit of a drive from Auckland ( and its not particularly luxurious) but every now and again we feel like a soak, so head down there. You get what you pay for in this life and given... More

We went when the sun was out and it was a warm day, swiming in a pool this hot is not as fun as we thought and the novelty wore off around 2 minutes after getting in! Plus the sulphur smell was very off putting!

Miranda Hot Springs are just the thing when you need somewhere to relax and recharge! We have been here several times in the last 2-3 years, each time there have been only a few people there so there's been no over-crowding, pools have always been very clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. Miranda is a must do if... More

Took 3 grandkids during school holidays for a day at pools - have not been for about 5 years and it is every bit as good as it always was. Kids had a great time - pool attendants are friendly and good at their job. The kids love the big bouncy pillow on the lawn - we then went to... More

I am amazed at the photos showing a lovely clean pool that you can actually see your feet through the water. The day we were there the water was very murky. In the adult hot pool I managed to stub my toes several times on some concrete lumps that I couldn't see. However there is a children's playground and a... More

Miranda has been one of the best hot springs in New Zealand as long as I can remember. There are large public pools at a comfortable swimming temperature, with lockers to keep your clothes and valuables. The sign said don't leave your valuables in your vehicle in the car parking lot. There is also a smaller pool that is almost... More
