Very old and worn... jumping pillow is the only high light there. Adult only sauna pool is boiling, can't sit in it at all. No single piece of sun shield in the main pool, very frustrating...picturing yourself either over slip slop slap on sun screen or get burned after a short while.

We went thinking we would stay for 3 hours but only stayed for half that time. There is one very big pool and a very hot pool with spa but not a lot of bubbles. If you have been to Hamner Springs you will be disappointed. The staff were very helpful when asked about other attractions. Cost was $14.

We have stayed here a couple of times before and I was really looking forward to the hot pools. We have spent the past few days tramping the kaimais and needed somewhere to stay prior to heading back home. The reception was helpful and we ended up with a tent site the first night and a lodge cabin the next... More

This was a nice outing because we drove past it. Had we sought it out and made a special stop for it I would have been disappointed.

Glad we happened to be passing and didn't make a specific trip. A single pool, no shade in the water (and it was HOT), slightly burned the bottoms of my feet on the concrete around the pool and the roof of the changing room nearly gave me a migraine. Wouldn't bother with again.

Miranda hot springs was nice for a rest day between travel. The pool was apparently kept at a certain temperature but I would have liked it hotter it's a family place so it's kept cooler for kids I imagine. There isn't much around, but everything was clean and the people running the place were very friendly.

This is a lovely drive along the Seabird coast - well sign posted from the main road from Auckland to Thames. The area is set up with picnic tables, shelter from the sun, and things for "kids" to play on - I really would have loved to jump on the big water bladder.... pity I am to old to let... More
