We only had time to do 5 days of the Cape to Cape walk. We started to organise it ourselves then realised there were logistical problems. Along came Gene (aka Cape to Cape Tours) and rescued us. Little did we know how his involvement would add to our experience! He was so generous with his time and knowledge (and he... More

Splendiferous! 8 Days of MAGIC. The Capes never ceases to amaze. Thank you to Gene and Drew and the wonderful support staff Ro and Clare. A very professional and well organised tour with lots of fun and laughs and topped off with genuine local insight. Your knowledge of the geology, flora, fauna, marine life, surfing and fishing spots along with... More

Last week we completed almost 57km of the Cape to Cape walk track. We chose to walk for four days and Gene organised the daily walks which we did unescorted. The track was just superb! Vey well organised and catered. We chose to include most meals in the tour. Dinners were just divine and there was plenty to eat. Thanks... More

What an awesome challenge, over 144kms in 7 days this was to be our longest walk yet and Gene and his team made this easy. We chose a challenging time to go over Easter and Anzac day holidays and it was awesome to have great accommodation every night and time to reflect on each days adventures. We took in the... More

If you do no other walk you should do this one, sheer enjoyment! Drew and Gene and the rest of their... More

If you are looking for a well organised but challenging adventure with passionate expert guides then the 7 day guided Cape to Cape walk is a great opportunity. The walk had lots of great dimensions - a physical challenge, fantastic views, in depth interpretations of flora, fauna and geology/oceanology, Indigenous and European history and outdoors living. This diversity meant that... More

We decided a while ago to run the Cape to Cape Track over five days as a bit of a challenge. The three of us are social runners with a preference for the off-road experience. The one hurdle (other than the obviously mammoth run) was how to run the track in one direction without a support crew helping us.... in... More

Gene from Cape to Cape Explorer Tours was excellent in organising our self-guided walk in January 2014. They were outstanding in all ways from accommodation to local track/region knowledge and were able to tailor our walk to our needs. Every part of the 7 day walk was well organised while been flexible to make adjustments on the day. They went... More

Without exception all walkers in our group were incredibly impressed with our guides Drew n Gene who looked after us so well. They guided the 11 of us from cape to cape with informative local knowledge, humour, and most importantly with utmost professionalism. The meals Ro prepared each night, were superb. Their enthusiasm to ensure we got the most out... More
