Description: Sunflowers Animal Farm is an interactive, hands-on farm animal display...
Sunflowers Animal Farm is an interactive, hands-on farm animal display with over 300 mainly farm animals. They are all very friendly because people feed them all day! Entry is $11, buckets of animal food are $3 and we are open every day (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 5pm. We have lots of baby animals that you can cuddle and also native animals like kangaroos and an emu. Have a conversation with Pommy the talking bird! Visitors can help give a bottle of milk to our orphan babies every day at 10am and 4pm.Staying overnight at Sunflowers Farmstay also gives your family free entry to the Animal Farm, free buckets of animal food for the children twice a day, a daily pony ride for kids under 7, free DVDs and a tractor ride for the whole family roughly every 2nd day.

We come from a hot country so anywhere where the weather is cool enough to stay outdoors is great. The kids loved the variety of animals here , especially bottlefeeding the joeys and patting the llamas and cute ponies. The grounds are big enough for a 3 hour plus leisurely stroll, including playing with the animals.

it cost us over $60 for a family of 5. We then found out that this did not include the food to feed the animals. This was an extra 3$ per bucket. We have a similar farm experience near our home and it is about $15 cheaper.

We visited Sunflwers Aminal farm as a day visitor. There is a wide variety of farm animals to feed and also the opportunity to cuddle the guinea pigs, rabbit and kids( baby goats). We spent approximately 1.5 hours here which is how long it took to empty our buckets of animal feed. The cost for entry was $12.50 per person plus $3.00 per... All in a good visit. Kids would love this place given the opportunity to feed animals up close and personal. Kangaroos, alpacas, emu, horse, sheep, chickens, pigs. There is also a playground for the kids to tire themselves out. Close proximity to MR city centre. A fee for adults and kids apply. I feel that a lower fee should apply... More

2nd visit to the farm and this time we stayed for 5 nights! The kids loved the animal feedings in the morning, the tractor ride and their 3 lovely dogs. The location is great too, near the town and we can pick up groceries to cook back at the unit or have dinner at the resturants. The unit is fully... More

If your family wants a farm-like experience with a chance to feed and pet the animals, this is the place to go. Overseas visitors with limited experience with animals also love this place. Domestic, native and exotic species are all here. Fun place to go!

We have visited Sunflowers Animal farm since I was a kid and it was always so cheap. We visited again in May 2015 and it was $22 for two adults and $3 for a food bucket! I didn't mind paying for the bucket of food but the entry fee is so expensive. Back in the day you didn't have to... More

Large playground with oversized minion beckons the Margaret River tourists to drop by as it is just off the main road. Playground seems suited for 5 and under. Farm used to have lamb bottle feelings but not any more. Now it feels like paying them to help them with feeding the animals. After visiting countrylife farm at Yallingup, this farm... More

The price at first glance was a bit high. But once we saw how much fun our daughter had when feeding those cute animals (including Kangaroos), the money was really a secondary thing. It was a huge rewarding experience for kids like my daughter growing up in big cities.
