Owner description: Sunflowers Animal Farm is an interactive, hands-on farm animal display with over 300 mainly farm animals. They are all very friendly because people feed them all day! Entry is $11, buckets of animal food are $3 and we are open every day (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 5pm. We have lots of baby animals that you can cuddle and also native animals like kangaroos and an emu. Have a conversation with Pommy the talking bird! Visitors can help give a bottle of milk to our orphan babies every day at 10am and 4pm.Staying overnight at Sunflowers Farmstay also gives your family free entry to the Animal Farm, free buckets of animal food for the children twice a day, a daily pony ride for kids under 7, free DVDs and a tractor ride for the whole family roughly every 2nd day.

We had been to the park last year and it was good and the animals were in good condition. We thought it would be a great place to take the family for a visit, everyone ended up being shocked at the state of the animals. They were famished, throwing themselves at us and sometimes even hurting themselves and attacking others... More

Thank you for visiting our farm. I would like to say that we care for our animals and your remarks are unwarranted. My staff tried to explain the horses lip but you weren't interested. The animals want the food in your bucket not because they are hungry but because it tastes better than hay. My staff and I take much... More

My family stayed at the largest chalet, North unit, for one night on 3 Dec. A pity that we only managed to get one night as the place was so popular and in high demand! Kids enjoyed the entire experience of feeding the animals, patting them, carrying them and even playing with the farm pet dogs, Dizzy, Lily & Sam.... More

I've been to Sunflowers Animal Farm twice, and both times have been great. You can get up close with the animals and experience them hands-on. Around 10am and 4pm there is bottle feeding for some of the animals and we were allowed to help hold the bottles for the lambs, goats and calves. Entry is $11 and the buckets of... More

Great place to feed and interact with both native and farmyard animals. The missus got to hold a joey that made her day.

Great place for children to be upclose and personal with the animals. My son had fun at the farm and enjoyed feeding the animals esp the calves, joey and rabbits. The farm is very well-maintained. Debbie and family did a good job in running the place. We stayed in the East Unit which is the cosiest unit with a great... More

Our group of 6 adults & 2 children stayed at Sunflowers Farm for 2 nights in October 2014 and really enjoyed the environment around the farm. We made full use of the well equipped kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner with food bought from nearby Riverfresh IGA & Coles. The children really enjoyed the morning pony ride and the animal... What a wonderful experience we had here!! The kids were amazed at how close they can get to the animals - we would have come back if time had allowed! Baby kangaroos, calves, sheep, ostriches, horses, rabbits, a big pig and tiny little chicks - they were all adorable!! An absolute must do with the kids! We'll do it again... More
