Tower Hill is a well managed natural park teeming with wildlife. The walk to the crest is a steep challenge which is interrupted by sweeping views and it's an opportunity to stop and catch your breath. The beautiful views across the fertile areas reflect what the history of Tower Hill reflects - a volcanic area of previous generations which has... More

The place is spectacular with far reaching views and a variety of walks although signage isn't that great it almost feels like you are out in the wilderness! Saw a variety of animals ironically mostly around the carpark although the longer waterside walk we had a rather intimidating encounter with kangaroos who followed us!! A highly recommended visit. We often visit Tower Hill and have done each of the walks. The most difficult being the Peak Climb, which is made more difficult by the rough ground and slippery path. The views from anywhere near the top are amazing, abundant wildlife, loads of photo opportunities and beautiful Australian Flora. Great for bush walkers or wildlife watchers. Nice shady picnic... We were recommended this attraction by a staff member at the museum. Otherwise we would have missed it. The turn off is west of town along the Great Ocean Road. You immediately head down into a collapsed volcano and it feels a bit 'Jurassic Park' There are a number of walks of varying lengths. Also recommended is the Von Geurard... More

I have been to nicer parks but none that have such wildlife on display. During our visit we saw 2 koalas, 2 emus and a wallaby that we were able to get close to - about a metre away. More

Nice to see some trees in the endless Western District grassy plains - this wonderful park is a haven for wildlife, with a fascinating history (sacred to local aborigines, last volcanic eruption just 7000 years ago). We did the 1 hour "Journey to the Last Volcano" walk, following a family of emus for about 100 metres, and enjoying brilliant views,... More

The Tower Hill Conservation Area is a lovely area to visit if you enjoy walking. There are several walks of various lengths and degrees of difficulty. We did the "Crator rim walk" which took between 1 and 2 hours, depending upon how often you stopped to take photos and how fast or slow you want to take it. We saw... More

Nice walks with plenty to see, very enjoyable. Some of the walks are quite steep but still enjoyable. More

Had a fun time here. The old town was good and was very touristy. I loved the little movie theatre too. Keep up the great work! More

We had a brilliant few hours at Tower Hill. We got up close and personal to 2 koalas, loads of emus, 2 echidnas and a blue tongue lizard. If you're a bird watcher, then this is the place for you. A great range of species to be spotted. I saw a Wedgetail Eagle, Fairy Wrens, White browed scrub wrens, Yellow... More
