We arrived at 12, next cheese tasting advertised to start at 12.30pm, at 12.30 the store employee said it will be a bit later. At 12.45 she declared cheese tasting will now be at 1.30! We left very annoyed as we had already been through museum and eaten at cafe and there is nothing else to do after those boxes... More

Come on its Cheese, my favourite warrnambool cheeses had to be Tomato and Chive cheese and the tasty cheddar, and you will need to try the thickshakes from the cafe they are the best thickshakes you can have.

We visited the shop and cafe areas only. Cheese tasting is every hour on the half hour although it is only of the 6 or so cheeses that are made on site. The rest of the shops sells a wide variety of local cheeses, wines and other produce as well as souvenirs. The cafe has some nice food so it... More

If you're looking for a small boutique cheese making facility, don't bother. This place is massively commercialised, with vast amounts of meaningless 'stuff' for sale which has absolutely no relevance to either cheese or dairy. The tastings are heavily restricted, with a person handing out single bits to individuals who are crowded around a very small counter. They only make... More

Initially when I walked into this place, I expected to be surrounded by cheese however after the cheese tasting, the lady explained that they only specialise in chedder cheese. I can happily say that their cheddar is pretty amazing and we purchased several types. We only made a quick stop here so we didn't visit thew museum or eat from... More

We tried the mocha milkshake and the coffee milkshake, both were delicious. Cheese shop has many options and not just cheese, also had wines, crackers, chocolates and various other goodies. Reasonable prices. Cafe is a bit too much greasy food but the ploughmans lunch was a great option, as were the scones! Probably best to buy a selection and have... More

If you like cheese you should enjoy this place. There seems to be an unbalance of retail versus education. Parts of it a like a giant gift shop. However, it was good to learn about cheese making, taste the local product and get some cheese to take home.
