Drove past it on a week away to Port Fairy so we decided to drop in. Great little museum to have a look in of vintage farming and lifestyle followed by cheese tasting. Tried the award winning Vintage cheddar (yum), the cracked pepper (amazing), and one to heat up your taste buds, the chilli cheese which was amazing. The staff... More

The kids wanted to stop here. Had a cheese tasting and the old equipment out the back is interesting too. Bought some cheese( found it later in Coles at a much better price sadly) but overall the experience was fun.

We arrived mid- day on a saturday and it was quite busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly in the shop and the tasting area, where there was a selection of cheeses to taste along with some rhubarb pickles /condiments . Some of the cheese mixes I had never tasted before and was quite impressed with the differing flavors... More

Cheese world is great, plenty of lovely things to sample but the best part was the museum. Take the time to talk with one of the volunteers, they know their history and are a delight to chat with.

The cheese tasting is something to write home about. Very much worth the drive. Unfortunately the cafeteria like atmosphere outside the tasting area is disappointing and reveals a lack of vision on the part if the owners. The staff were great.

It was easy to find with plenty of free parking, a short distance before Warrnambool at the end of our long days drive on the Great Ocean Road. We only just arrived in time for the last tasting of the day - 4.30 I think but the lady put out the many different cheeses she was just packing away and... More

It is easy to find, being a short drive from Warnambool. The museum is small but it is free and it houses some interesting implements and artifacts from the area's cheese- and butter-making history. It only takes a few minutes to wander through, and then you wander into its shop, which offers some wonderful cheeses produced locally. Not a place... More

The cheeseworld museum is a must stop along the way to Warrnambool. You can see all the vintage machinery that went into making cheese back in the day. The only let down is... it's actually cheaper to buy the Warrnambool cheese in the supermarket then it is at the factory! We saw vintage cheddar at the factory for $9 and... More
