Cheese World is about 1/4 Cheese, 1/2 random stuff to buy, and 1/4 snack bar. They tout their milkshakes as the best, but we didn't try them. Cheese tasting was a few different cheddar cubes distributed by an indifferent employee. The museum doesn't tell a story of the history of the cheese factory, just has random old stuff laid out.... Cheese World. How I salivated at the thought of being able to taste and purchase cheeses from across the world. The name is certainly deceiving. Went to this place on Friday 10th April 2015. First. I was struck by the amount of wine for sale - far in excess of any cheese. Second. I was not able to taste any... More

We bought some lovely cheeses, but were disappointed with the tasting session as we were unable to taste any of the cheeses we were wanting to buy, only those already on the tasting menu. The shop had some great local produce such as honeys, jams and cheeses from another local factory, as well as some other Australian products, but there... More

My husband pointed out that it was just like a big supermarket. The cheese I bought was great, but it would have been nice to have a bit on how it was made ect. There is a small museum attached to it and the entry is free, but the museum is more of a machinery museum which while of interest... More

This was a disappointing stop that showcased attractions set up as tourist traps. Although there is some excellent regional produce displayed, the supermarket of tourist kitsch and factory canteen style of dining do the local area no favours. It is a pity as there seems no shortage of high quality local produce which would be a real attraction if properly... More

We breezed by a quick look and off, this site is a great spot to "graze" and taste cheese. Anywhere the locals go to eat cannot be too bad for its food either! What we took packaged we enjoyed on our journey.

Nice to stretch your legs around the museum - brings back some memories; to try some cheese in the shop. We stopped for 30 minutes.

Collected a two for one drink deal from caravan park, so thought we would stop. Hubby loved the museum, I left him to it and went to shop, got to taste the cheese. Hubby didn't because they only do tastings every hour on the half hour, that is 10-30, 11-30 etc. Ordered drinks and scones, scones came and we ate... More

I had high hopes for a place called Cheese World. I would like to consider myself a cheese lover. However, this place is really just a cafe with a supermarket attached. There is a small selection of cheese available to buy, but I think a supermarket would have the same cheese! There are cheese tastings (hooray) and a small museum.... More
