Im used to walking around supermarkets where there are more types of cheese available. This is more of a shop than a 'world', with some nice cheese made on site, the museum seemed slightly dated- and wasn't clearly signposted. We went as it was on our route- however, we would have considered going as on leaflets it is described as... More

So many cheeses and local produce to choose from. Had a lovely time tasting the cheeses and deciding what sauces/jams or honey I wanted to take home to try. Worth a visit if you like local produces.

A stop at the Allansford Cheese World, Dave Lee Vintage Engine Collection & the local history Museum is a very interesting break when traveling the Great Ocean road, near Warrnambool, Victoria. I found it easy to spend an hour here with a coffee break & to check the cheeses out. The museum is really worth a visit & is well... More

If u love cheddar cheese, u have to visit this shop. Many varieties and you can taste it all. No pressure to buy. Tried the chilly cheese yet? And there's a museum too showing old cheese presses, milking stations, tractors, engines etc. Great for kids. Amenities are very clean. And there's a cafe for a quick bite.

We agreed, best cheesecake for taste, size and price we have had. Nice coffee too. Enjoyed the cheese tasting - it was obviously a quiet time, not... More

The cheese was good, but the service can be improved. Museum was average and should give more explanation on the exhibit and how they are linked to cheese making.

Was a bit disappointed to have missed out of cheese tasting due to other peoples greedy natures, but got some lovely cheese, wine and local produce for presents for family. Staff were lovely

Cute shop, has a good choice of gifts more like a gift shop though than a cheese shop, not a huge selection of different cheeses none the less it was a good place to visit
