Love visiting the reserve. Great walk around the lake, plenty of ducks to feed and nice just sitting and watching all the bird life. Perfect place for wedding photos or any type of photography. This reserve is a credit to all the volunteers who maintain it and make it a place for everyone to enjoy.

Great place to go for a walk, feed the ducks, or take in the nature in the area. Good place to go with families or dogs.

This is a great place to get out, have a picnic, observe the ducks and other wildlife, and take an easy or more challenging walk if you like. Lots of trails around to walk on, and the reserve features a boardwalk and wildlife observation area. Dogs are allowed on leads, great place to take the kids for an outing!

Best place to visit for tranquility. Beautiful walk around the lake with sounds of birds and wildlife. Great group of volunteers keep this hidden gem looking fantastic with a range of short walks all linked and raking in the lake and surrounding bush land. Teeming with birds , frogs ,turtles and possums.

A great place for a peaceful walk, take in a bit of nature and enjoy the birds. We quite often walk around the old reservoir with our Grandson who takes great delight in feeding all the water birds and seeing the young ones at the right time of year. One can sit and reflect on the history of the reservoir... More

Nice bush setting 'Land for Wildlife' in the middle of the city where you can go for a walk around a central lake which apparently attracts a lot of birds, however we didn't really see many birds apart from the swamp hens which clearly would have liked us to feed them. Perhaps if we had gone first thing in the... More

Take your kids and stale bread and go feed the many waterbirds you'll find there, then take an easy one kilometre walk around the lake. It's a lovely spot.

Featuring an old reservoir that used to supply water for steam engines, this is now a reserve that is home to flora and fauna, particularly birds, of the region. It has walking tracks all of 30 minutes or less, and a canyon that is fun to explore. An excellent information pavillion and picnic tables are located near the carpark in... More
