This is a fairly impressive church if that sort of thing interests you. I'm not sure it's an attraction as such. Worth a look if you have nothing else to do.

I'm not sure many people would view Sale as a tourist destination, but for anyone passing through, St Mary's Catholic Cathedral is a fine place to visit. It has a light cream rendered finish, and we notice the sculpted angels with trumpets on the roof! Inside, we enter through a modern curved assembly area which blends beautifully with the old... More
