Prior to going to Mildura I quickly checked out a few places of interest in Tripadvisor. Good decision! I checked out Woodsies Gem Shop and I was amazed at the range and quality of their goods. If you want something for the family, especially of the feminine persuasion then you will have plenty to choose from here. For the guys... More

We have been to Mildura and never noticed it. Entry is free and there is an amazing variety of gemstones, rocks and jewellery on display. We picked up some reasonably priced interesting souvenirs for our grandchildren. For $2 you can walk through a series of wonderful " caves" displaying a myriad of gemstones. Don't miss it! There is a a... More

Oh my gosh! We had so much fun here! All the Gems were so beautiful and there were tons of creative gem stone creations. We sadly got there after the little cafe portion was closed so we didn't get to experience this. However, the gems are a bit boring for the kiddos but for little money you can run them... More

Every time we come to Mildura, we call in at Woodsies. Well worth a look, whether just as a tourist, a lover of these gorgeous rocks found naturally in our earth, or if you are a healer and use crystals in your healing business. Such a huge range, beautiful specimens and prices range to cater for everyone's budget.

I grew up around the corner from Woodsies and my first visit in 30 years was a great experience. It's quadrupled in size since I was a child and there's a museum like quality to the place. You can easily spend an hour looking at all the display cases without spending a cent. The range of rocks and minerals is... More

Although not real easy to find, we found our visit to Woodies very worthwhile. Free admission. A huge range of gem jewellery on display and set out in gem types and colours for ease of selection. A quirky "cave" full of gems from all over the world was only $2 entry and well worth a look. They also have a... More

Wow! So many gems and so much jewellery. All organised into type so if you were looking for a particular stone it would be easy to find. Very well set up. Demonstrations on site of stone cutting also.

While visiting Echuca we stopped in at Woodsies Gem Shop. What a great surprise. There is a shop at the front with loads of cabinets with jewellery on display. There is also a café with an amazing man made display of caves on the ceiling. For $2 you can enter the man made caves and view gems and displays from... More

Have been there twice and have bought up big both times. Stayed for lunch and the sandwiches are $6.50 with lots of fillings, very well priced. We will be back.
