Woodsies Gem Shop is a family owned and operated business 10 mins from Mildura. Its showroom boasts timeless jewellery, exquisite gemstones, beautiful carvings, gifts and much more. You'll be blown away by the Cave-Inn restaurant and dining area, and enticed by the local staff at the Little Gem Cafe.

Family attractions include Aladdin's Cave - a walk-through display of gemstones sourced internationally in the Woods' family private collection. ($2 adults, $1 children)

There is the Garden Crazy Maze - a maze that covers nearly a hectare of dead-ends and arguments. Try your luck to beat the 1min 39sec record set by a local student. Allow approximately 30-45 minutes! ($2 adults, $1 children)

There is a cafeteria there also, and the food is great, reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and friendly too. So if your looking to spend a couple of hours somewhere cool in Summer, and warm in winter, woodsies is the place to go!

Second time just as good as the first. This time we not only ate (great value for money with friendly staff) we did the maze without cheating (40 minutes) and we did the Aladdin cave which is very interesting with stones from all around the world displayed. Will go back there every time we pass through Mildura for sure.

I used to visit Mildura as a child and Woodsies was part of the fun. Now, years later, bringing my own children back here was fantastic. Woodsies is so much fun. The faces at the front, the maze (which we couldn't finish - we had to use the cheat gate!) and Aladdin's Cave are all tongue-in-cheek entertainment. And don't get... More

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. No obligation to buy. Suggest viewing the private collection in the cave for a meagre $2 entry, but gents, leave the credit card in the car!

Took our friends to Woodsies Gem shop when they came to visit us in Mildura last year. They really liked the shop & kids enjoyed the cave experience.

It pays to have done a little research or leave a good amount of time to have a good look through this 'gem'. Make sure you have noted down the birthdays of any loved ones you want to buy for as they have all the birthstones imaginable. The gemstones range from the very affordable to the expensive but you'll always... More

Been here twice, but now our eldest is 3 she loved it. Good family environment, free entry but the $2 to enter their cave is worth it

As cynical and critical tourists, we weren't expecting much. But we really enjoyed our visit. I have never before been beaten by a maze- oh the shame! The gem cave was fun and there was plenty of "non tat" to buy in the shop. And the cafe was great value. The staff were very helpful too.
