We went on a lovely cruise and lunch at the Metung Pub. The chap that crewed the cruiser was full of fun and knowledge. Didn't get to see any dolphins but there were plenty of different sea birds etc. The meal at the pub(included in your fare ) was a " good pub meal" and the staff were very helpful.... More

Our family took the 2.5 hour lunch tour to Metung. The crew were great, the hotel and lunch good value and the sights beautiful. Heaps to see - we had a ball: Pelicans, beaches, high rocks, lovely properties to admire, 'old man seal' and dolphins were a terrific sight too. The crew really knew where to go - we had... More

A group of us went on the 70Km cruise over the Australia Day weekend. We had a ball! There could have been a bit more commentary about different bits and pieces but we enjoyed spending time together and watching the birds and dreaming about being able to own one of the houses we went past. We all loved the section... More

We went on the 70km trip (2 1/2 hours) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Good commentary provided by the Skipper, fabulous views and we experienced a good appreciation of the vastness of the Lakes.

This is the first negative review I have ever posted. We have done cruises up rivers, to reefs, to islands and on lakes around Australia, so were looking forward to a cruise around some of the Gippsland lakes. We booked the 2.5 hour cruise to make the most of the opportunity. The staff were friendly, and the boat was clean... More

This cruise which includes lunch at the Metung Hotel was excellent and highly recommended. The food at the Hotel was very good (2 courses provided as part of the cruise price) and the cruise was interesting. $55 each was very good value. A must if you visit Lakes Entrance.

Had a lovely cruise over to Metung and back. Lunch was included in the cruise price which was great. Very informative cruise. Found out lots of things didn't know about the lakes area and system. Highly recommend.

This company has operated since 1920 and the grandson of the original operator is the managing director. There are several options for travelling around the Gippsland lakes and we took the 2 and a half hour afternoon trip. It is picturesque with a little commentary and you can buy drinks and snacks on board, but fairly limited. Apart from some... More
