Authentic steam driven paddlesteamers depart daily from the Echuca Wharf which originally extended 333 metres in length in the 1880's and has been recently been reconstructed.Home of the TV series "All the Rivers Run", the Port of Echuca will provide you with a glimpse of what live was really like in the late 1800's. With the new Discovery Centre now open, it is indeed an attraction not to be missed. « less

My partner and I were here about 5 years ago and had a great time wondering through the port and the shops. today we returned to show our girls and felt disappointed as a lot of the shops were closes and what was opened was up market and costly. The restorations and repairs were made of very new and shiny... More

Great spot along the Murray watching the paddle steamers. Seem to be more houseboats along the river these days so the paddle steamers do well to navigate around them. Great little playground and was nice there was a little shelter to sit out of the sun whilst the kids play.

Four of us (two couples) recently spent a few days at Echuca and had a great time. All facilities are close by and reek with history. We liked everything we experienced but a few stood out. The wine cellar of St Annes at the Port of Echuca was outstanding with all aspects, wine tasting, variety of products and absolute customer... More

With half the attractions not operational, this visit was a little disappointing. Would be much more attractive if the unoccupied spaces could be opened up for access to the wharf.

We had Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast in the dining room, ample variety of hot food or continental for a very hearty breakfast, dinner equally as nice, service pleasant. Nice place to stay.

Very interesting and the new visitors centre is well worth a visit .A trip on one of the paddle steamers is a must as is a walk through the Port area . A long walk along the Mighty Murray is a a very restful way to finish your day ,so visit Echuca soon.

We went on a paddle steamer, which was fun but not long enough. There's plenty to see and do along the Port precinct.

A quaint gravel street along the river which is set 100+ years ago just like the old town used to be. Great little shops. Cafes are a bit average for decent food but they are ok. Worth the stroll. Get free bikes at St Annes cellars and grab a bottle of wine and some cheeses from the awesome cheese shop... More

If you want a weekend gettaway and you don't know where to go... go to Echuca! Gather a few friends, rent a houseboat, and have heaps of fun! You can then go up or down the river, at your own pace and will and enjoy the quiet and beautifull views along Murray river. From the port there are supermarkets and... More
