The bloke responsible is Neil Thomas a really interesting a likeable person. Be warned, he could sell Julia Gillard the collected works of Kevin Rudd. He whipped about $40 off us pretty quickly and very painlessly, but it was worth it. Well you can get a drink but not a beer I think ( will stand corrected on that if... More

This is not only a beer shed but a display of memorabilia from many years ago. A walk through the exhibition spaces reveals lots of household items used in years gone by. Many objects brought back memories of my childhood years and it was absolutely fascinating. There is also a display of old farm machinery, water carts and, of course,... More

My husband I were married at the Beer Shed on November 1st. It was a fantastic venue, which our guests enjoyed immensely. Ray and the staff were amazing, very helpful and enthusiastic. Ray also included a tour of the museum, which our guests particularly enjoyed, and raved about. We will definitley visit again, and again!

This place is amazing. It is more than the name suggests. I have been to several functions here in the last 3 months and it is unbelievable. Whilst the tours lead by Neil are very funny but informative, the function meals and drinks are sensationally catered for. A lot of Australiana memorabilia here. Well worthy of a few hours.

went there with an open mind and there is a lot of items there which bring backs a lot of memories but the best part is the gentleman who does a very good commentary and with his vast knowledge we where glued to our seats

Greeted on arrival and when others arrived we were conducted in a group and had a talk and demonstration of old household and farming exhibits. Wandered round outside viewing farm machinery etc and in large hall looked at the variety of the displays too numerous to mention. It depends on what takes you interest. Very nostalgic for older people like... More

The range of interesting artefacts of all sorts, including beer cans, was huge and fascinating. The collection is international and showed a really dedicated collector was behind it all. Lots for kids too. We were passing by and made an unplanned visit to break up a long driving day. The whole family was entertained just wandering around and by the... More

My son and his wife chose the beer shed for their wedding reception, which was held last weekend. Neil and his staff were absolutely wonderful and totally obliging, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a truly unique venue with some of the most fascinating memorabilia you could imagine. The Great Aussie Beer Shed is so interesting... More

There's plenty to see, old machinery, kegs, military stuff, and of course beer cans. Some of the correct answers on the tour are sausage maker, log splitter, temporary fence post, and can opener. See if you can guess the questions correctly.

Proud that this is a feature in my hometown, not just for the beer but the priceless memorabilia. Not to be missed if you're spending a lazy weekend in Echuca/Moama.
