For the Holden enthusiast plenty of beautifully restored old models even some racing history with the Torana's and some concept cars that didn't quite make it to the show room floor. Worth the visit if you are in town.

So much to see!! Could spend hours in here especially if you get chatting to Ted and his wonderful knowledge of everything Holden. Thoroughly enjoyed the Holden Museum and even if you are not a car or Holden enthusiast it has lots of interesting items to view.

We visited the Holden Motor Museum as my partners is a fan of Holdens. While I myself am not that into cars, I still found the museum to be interesting as there are many of the old cars on display. They have a video playing of all the old Holden ads and documentaries about Holdens that I watched for a... More

This museum was dedicated to Holdens. The experience commenced with an audio visual describing the history and evolution of Holden cars in Australia. There was a great display of many cars from the 48-215 to some recent models such as utes including a Maloo. There were some prototype models constructed of wood etc. There were engines & gear boxes sectioned... More

Watched the 15 minute video which gives you the history of Holden, This is needed if you are not Australian born. Very informative. The cars are lovely and such a shame you cannot sit in them but understandable. Reasonable entrace fees and the gifts are also reasonable. Staff are friendly and definitely know their stuff. Worth a visit.

I have always enjoyed my visits to the Museum. I would like to visit more often, as there is usually something new each time. What impresses is that this is not just a car museum (a collection of old and new cars). There is much more to see - engines, transmissions, cut away parts, styling models and even employee memorabilia.... More
