The history of the Chinese community in Bendigo is a unique one. This museum has lots of photos and items donated by local families. Lots of information to read, and exhibits. The second exhibition room is very impressive, with an impressive jade carriage. The staff are very friendly, and the gift shop is very nice and well priced (there is... More

Lots of exhibits and interesting artefacts. The dragon was amazing. Loved the jade wagon. Gardens were small but similar to those in China.

Amazing collection of Chinese artifacts, including a 100 year old dragon used in 1901 federation of Australia outside Melbourne Parliament house and a jade chariot. Possibly too much on display at the one time.

My wife is Chinese and I also have studied China at university so we both got a lot out of wandering around the museum, gardens and temple. Worth the entrance fee for sure.
