Just a few metres from the centre of town but like entering a whole other world. A fantastic spot to take a quiet break from sightseeing....

Beautiful leafy park situated right in centre of town. You could even be in NYC this park is now about to be updated with some new attractions around the outer perimeters by the City Council. It will be a wonderful amenity for visitors and locals alike.

A walk through the park on the way to the View Street art precinct provides many photo opportunities including views of the fountain, Soldiers Memorial, Old Government Offices (now Tourist Information Centre) and historical Shamrock Hotel.

Lovely, old-fashioned park with many different areas to check out. Beautifully maintained and quite large. Also has a poppet head from a goldmine to climb which provides a great view of the city and surrounds.

A lovely copse of long established deciduous tree in the centre of the city. Extensive, easy pace walking paths through tree older than 100 years and close to the CBD.

Good place to go for a walk on a hot summers day. Not much to see. Has been mainly destroyed over the years by local government but they have recently done a lot of restoration work.Good lockout made from an old mine head and has a lovely cascade waterfall.
