This is an amazing production. It has enough "wow" factor to be fun and entertaining and yet it is also highly educational at the same time. Fantastic.

This attraction is one of the best in Ballarat. The action and story it portrays gives you a good impression of what the Eureka Stockade was like in its time. The viewing area is wheelchair accessible. If you go in winter then rug up well as it gets very very very cold! Plan your in summer!

This is a fabulous experience for adults to relive an event back in the 1850's in Ballarat, The sound and light show is really well done, having said that, I believe that young children like my 6 year old grand daughter who accompanied me are not old enough to understand the historic dialogue that is re enacted , (older children... Great way to put yourself in there shoes, our kids really enjoyed it (9 & 13) we had the governor's pass with the dinner, lovely meal, this pass has added extras front seats, drinks and lollies, book & DVD, also your own blanket while watching the major show (the kids loved feeling like VIP's)

If I can warn you please don't go to see it,its over price and really not that special. We love Ballarat and sovereign hill with all the activities but this one it's waste of time and money. The light and sound effect not that special its a bit boring and this is the opinion of all of us. There was... More

An excellent way to learn of the history of the Eureka rebellion before visiting Sovereign Hill during the day. Walking around the gold diggings at night was awesome and if possible sit in the front row of the outdoor theatre as this allows you to be a close as possible to the presentation. Be prepared for some loud noise and... More

Great visual experience. Thought I had a reasonable knowledge of the Eureka rebellion but how wrong was I. Throughly enjoyed the light show and very informative. The laser show and effects along with the narrative story is a real history lesson. But be prepared it is cold & rug up as it is all outside. Although there is not much... More

Really great - well organised and worth the money. Take warm clothes !!! The train ride between sites was the highlight for our six year old. Some loud bangs could scare little children but ours was fine with this.

A year ago we turned up and the second show had been cancelled. This time around we hooked ahead. Overall the show was really good. I enjoyed the first half where we walked through a camp as the story unfolded. The second part where we were in an outdoor theatre was pretty good too but there was something a little... More
