Blood on the Southern Cross brings the history of the Eureka uprising to life. This show is in the evening to emphasise the sound & light show which makes you feel as if you are in the midst of the action. Some of the show is outdoors and the main part is undercover but open to the open- air so it... More

I had many people tell me how great this show was and I must say I was very disappointed with it. After the initial introduction the group are taken outside to continue with the show. If you are short or a child you have no hope in seeing what is going on and in some parts I couldn't even hear... More

Blood on the Southern Cross has been developed and improved over time and is now a world class attraction. Telling the story of the 1854 battle at the Eureka Stockade, it brings this whole significant episode in Australian history to life in a very vivid way. Being held in darkness, the lighting and special effects are used to great advantage... More

I was really not sure what to expect with this one. It is quite an expensive 1.5 hours for a family. That said, I do not regret going to this AT ALL. Well worth the cold and cost! It was educational and fun. Once you got used to the ghostlike voices seemingly coming from no-where, it is quite impressive. The... More

I wasn't too sure what to expect. A little put off at first by there being no actors, but realized very quickly, that as a Sound & Light Show it was so cleverly done that I really enjoyed it!! As Pensioners I still found the pricing of tickets a bit steep even at Concession rates. Thoroughly enjoyed the Show and... More

A grear show, no people on it but it is fascinating what they do with lights, fire, tents, houses, music. Take a jacket with you, it maybe gets cold, you are outside.

If you want a great insight into the Eureka Stockade and the miner's 'revolt' this is a great attraction to visit. A good couple of hours in the evening with plenty to see & learn. Make sure you wear warm clothing - even in summer.

Great for the whole family. After a day at Sovereign Hill this topped things off. While it may seem fairly pricey it is well worth it and I highly recommend it. Go and experience something very unique, educational and entertaining. We took our kids, 6 and 10, and they enjoyed it as well.
