We enjoyed a very pleasant Monday morning being shown around the brewery by our very competent and knowledgable tour guide Cil. Lots of history and we were fortunate enough to witness the bottles going through their washing process. A video was also shown to explain the other processes not working at the time of the tour. The beer and cheese... More

We went on the 1pm tour and our guide Tayla was lovely! Knew loads of stuff to take you through! You see loads of stuff, just a shame there aren't better ways of showing you what happens inside the massive silver containers! The tour lasts for about 45mins and then back to the starting point for some beer and cheese!... More

We didn't take the tour but did have a look around the museum rooms before tasting. Pleasant sitting out the back in the fresh air- even if the view is of the carpark!

We didn't do the brewery tour but had lunch in the brewery bar. The cheese platter accompanied by the paddle of 3 very different Boag's beers was excellent and didn't break the bank, give it a go.

On the 4th of May I participated in the 1PM guided tour of The brewery. I arrived at the tour centre situated at 39 Williams street Launceston, approximately 30 minutes prior to the tour starting to have a light lunch in the café, which I can only say was excellent. Ten minutes prior to the tours commencement I participated in... More

Had to book and went through the week on a. 3.30 tour. Lots of family history, but don't get to actually see anything but closed up tanks, packaging plant had finished for the day, we were shown a DVD on the viewing platform though. the end of the tour brings a 4 beer tasting with complimenting cheeses. My fave was... More
