The Boag's Brewery tour was excellent and enjoyable. It was fun, informative, took us all round the beer making and bottling factory with informed, passionate and cheery insights from our guide into the history and art of Boag's beer and that part of Tassie. Because it was Sunday we didn't see the factory working, but that meant we got much... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our Boag's tour. It was interesting learning about the brewery and seeing the processes in action, but also great to hear little stories and tales of Launceston and the brewery's history. Out tour guide was really informative, friendly and had a great sense of humour. To top it off, the beer and cheese tasting... More

I love seeing the way beer is made in different places and here it is amazing how few employees are needed. The tour includes a visit to a museum and some tasting. I went on a weekend and realized later that since the brewery was not operating I could hear the tour guide and understand the process better. It was... More

When we booked the tour the lady on the phone did explain that as a working brewery there may be sections of the brewery that would not be working, which we accept is likely to be the case. What she did NOT tell us was that this particular day was a "family day" for the brewery staff and NONE of... More

This was a fantastic tour. We were taken through the whole brewery and was astounded to see the range of beer they make. They were installing a new bottling line at the time so we didnt see that running. The tastings at the end of the tour was fantastic, and we tried the whole range and happily went on our... More

You don't have to be a beer lover to appreciate a tour of Boag's brewery but it surely didn't hurt our thirsty group of eight who thoroughly enjoyed the couple of hours we spent there. Seeing where one of our favourite beers comes from and learning how it's made certainly added to our pleasure at the tasting session that followed.... More

Informative tour and beer tasting, very entertaining young lady who knew her stuff. Would be better when the factory is operating to see the process first hand instead of watching a video.

I would never have thought to visit Boags, but for my mainland visitor. We signed up for the 90minute tour and had a great time listening to our friendly guide, Don. The size of the modern brewery and the history of the original made for a very interesting time. We also enjoyed the beer tasting and cheese afterwards. There aren't... More

Very worthwhile for the knowledge gained about beer brewing, the history of Boags and its relation to Launceston. The beer and cheese tasting made it all worthwhile. Our guide was Cassee, a very knowledgeable and pleasant young girl.

Really enjoyed the beer lovers tour. Was a good insight into how the beer is brewed and bottled. A lovely tasting at the end too.
