A beautiful setting and some good wines for tasting. We were served by a lovely French lady who was knowledgeable on the wines. Although I am not a Pinot Noir drinker I especially liked the ones from here. Worth a visit even if you don't drink wine.

We visited the winery after going to Cataract George. It's nice and close to Launceston, and a beautiful location. Wine tasting was $5 or free if you buy a bottle (which is very easy to do as the wines are amazing). We had a wander around the beautiful grounds before heading into the restaurant for lunch. The staff were lovely... More

Not only does this winery produce a myriad of fine wines, but it also serves clever, inventive, and delicious cuisine. Add to that an active events calendar including music, seasonal, and industry related events in pristine surroundings and you have a world class venue in regional northern Tasmania.

The grounds were amazing. Helped by great weather. Could have sat under the trees all day. Wine tasting was excellent. Recommend popping in as it's very close to Launceston.

Came for a football weekend and drove to the winery for a lunch. The facilities there are modern and very accessible. We couldn't get into the restaurant as it was very busy, understandable given that it was a weekend so we had a couple of tasting platters in the lounge are along with some glasses of their wines. The food... More

What was one of the best meals I have had anywhere in the restaurant was marred by the fact that we only went for a wine tasting and a light tasting platter to be bruskly told that the tasting platters were not available in the restaurant. How does one feel when ten minutes or so later the people at the... More

Beautiful place and great staff with our wine tasting. Was a little disappointed re wine, my partner decided to buy an expensive Pinot noir for our lunch. The waiter brought out wine and it was really cold about 12 o C for a red wine and I had to ask for it to be warmed up, actually insist on it... More

What a great experience, after a stunning lunch at the restaurant on site we were taken behind the scenes through the winery and given tastings straight from the Vats and barrels of their beautiful wines. With many award winning wines and the history behind Josef Chromy and his humble beginnings and raging success it was a fantastic opportunity!
