As the last day of our honeymoon was drawing to a close, I took Simone to this magnificant cellar door. It is no wonder that it has won awards for having the best cellar door food! And believe it or not, they have a great wine list.... and you can see where it is grown! Visit here, eat anything, drink... More

Stopped for a wine tasting here. Our server seemed to know little about the wines on offer which was a disappointment. The wine was of a great quality though so for the vino aficionados I would at least pay this a visit.

We dropped into the vineyard in the afternoon to taste their wines and share a cheese platter. The location is simply stunning with views across the lake. Wine tasting was $5 per person but this cost is deducted off your bottle of wine if you choose to purchase. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and very welcoming even with... More

Wow - what a vine yard. Spectacular views here and such a homely place. Staff are sensational. A nice little stroll takes you down to the gazebo to admire the views of the vine yard across the lake. The wines from here are yummy. We also enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. You can dine inside or on the patio. The... More

Started off good but when they swapped salespeople the new Lady behind the cellar door had attitude to die for which made the experience not worth it in the end, especially when we were waiting our whole trip to go after recommendations of friends.

Food was ok, waiting staff friendly but a bit slow at times (perhaps not sufficient coverage for both indoors and outdoors (where we sat)). Comfortable outdoors, could sit there on the bean bags at the grass-filled patch outside the restaurant with my glass of wine watching my kid play.

Really enjoyed the visit. Definitely not one to miss. Had lunch there which was delicious. The lady we had during the tasting wasn't 100% knowledgeable about the wines, but was able to ask someone who could answer my questions. Of note, the cheap Australia-wide postage of $10 for a dozen they offer only applies if you buy their wines. We... More

We lunched here on our way to the airport : the meals are beautiful , the wine , stunning and a beautiful location . We have been here previously , and there have been weddings in the garden both times , yet we weren't made to fill hurried out . The service is excellent

This was a brief stop on route to Launceston, found the place very well maintained, in a spectacular setting, we enjoyed sitting in the gardens over a delicious lunch and glass of bubbles, then walking around the lake watch the vast array of birdlife .
