When I visit the shop last week, the staff only focusing fill up the stock. And I was looking around, the receptionist talked to me until I asked her for wine tasting. And when I was tying different wine, asking what's the difference between two of the wines. The staff said:" It's really a big different." Then just stop and... More

We enjoyed a glass of champange and a cheese platter on the deck. Cheese platter for one was exquisite. Big piece of cheese, thin slices of fruit bread, four varieties of dried fruits, fresh grapes and wafer thin crackers. Plenty for 2 people to share. Josef Chromy is such an interesting man. He does come into the restaurant from time... More

This is such a great place to visit. You can taste the wines but for us the lunch was the best thing. Great food, lovely service and the view over the lake was wonderful. We later walked around the lake to work off some of the excellent food we had just eaten. Josef Chromy wines are some of the best... More

We were handed a glass of Josef Chromy sparkling wine on our wilderness train trip and was hooked the moment we tasted it. We immediately googled the cellar door location and when in Launceston went on a spending spree, the location is beautiful, the wine is fantastic, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this cellar to everyone.

What an amazing place. The wines are well made with a great range to choose from. Personally I think their ZDAR riesling is about as good as it gets in tassie. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and boy was the food at the restaurant to die for. Topping all this off with beautiful views of vineyards, lakes, immaculate... More

It is an absolute pleasure to visit Josef Chromy. The surrounds are maintained to the highest order and the aspect, complete with undulating vines and water, is picture postcard perfect. Staff at Cellar Door at this stunning Estate exude wine knowledge and professionalism. The Cafe menu is surprisingly reasonable in price and well put together in terms of offerings. The... More

This beautiful vineyard close to Launceston is well worth the drive! I'm visiting from USA & only a few places in California are as hospitable as this experience! It's like Napa 20 years ago! Jacinta was very professional and knowledgeable, she made this tasting awesome. And for only $5 don't miss this one!

Modern, sophisticated cellar door. The story of Josef Chromy is inspiring and the vineyard he has built is truly beautiful. We sampled wines here, bought some to ship home and took many photos of the autumn coloured vines and the peaceful lake. There is a coffee shop if you don't have time for a full meal. The view over the... More

Set in Relbia, only 10 minutes from Launceston and close to the airport, this world class vineyard is worth a visit. Classy cellar door and restaurant look out over the property and lake. Wines are top class and the staff know their wine. Enjoyed a breakfast and lunch at different times at this vineyard and both were very enjoyable, service... More
