For $15 this 1-1.5 hour easy walking tour through Launceston is fabulous value. Robyn is a very informative guide and passionate about Launceston's history and architecture. The tour left from the 1842 Gallery at 10am. We certainly left with a head full of knowledge and appreciation of Launceston - both today and it's bygone days.

Insightful... Insightful... and insightful. That's what it was all about. I never expected Launceston to have such remarkable architectural history. If you have attention to details, you could read the cityscape, probably with some help from Robyn the lovely lady who took us through the tour. She was extremely informative and a delight to have a discussion on the heritage... More

Had a wonderful time being taken on a most informative walk around the old part of Launceston. My tour guide was so passionate and was very happy to share her knowledge. I will definitely be recommending this tour to family and friends.

Robyn greeted us at the door & made us feel very welcome. along with a sydney couple she proceeded to take us back into history through launches ton architecture. the tour was meant to last an hour at the cost of $15 a person but she was still telling us interesting anecdotes almost 2 hours later. She really knows her... More

Our tour guide, Robyn, presented a brilliant history tour with great enthusiasm and in-depth local knowledge. We delighted in learning about the social history and were amazed at the number of historic buildings which have been preserved and give Launceston its unique character. Value for money and highly recommended!

Robyn led us around for about 1.5hrs showing buildings of the early Launceston while filling us in on the history and showing photos of the city from the past. If you are in to buildings and architecture this would be perfect for you but even with us younger ones the sights and stories were really intriguing!

First class experience. Robyn has a gentle, disarming nature and the characters, events and facts are delivered with conviction and passion. We were totally engaged and interested such that we would not have noticed if the tour was longer. If done well, these tours place you inside the back story and provide insight on the present and future. Mission accomplished... More

Robyn is an enthusiastic, very well informed and friendly guide. She is justifiably very proud of her town and its interesting history. I really enjoyed learning about how Launceston began and its stages of development. I do many of these historical walks and this is one of the best.
