Absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful natural wonder, well sign posted, with several lookouts. Easy access by car or on foot to many spots around the lake to take great photos.

Best seen from December to February. Only a short distance to walk from the street to the viewing platform and from the carpark to the lookout.

As a past local I recently took my family to do the touristy things in my home town. I never get sick of seeing the Blue Lake and the surrounding lakes.....perfect time of year for a visit as the colour is magnificent. A must for every tourist .

I have no idea how it looks as it does every day every way, cloudy sky, sunny, whatever. a fantastic stopover and great place to sit and enjoy with a picnic lunch. Wonderful walk up and around. Just perfect.

As you drive up the hill wondering which way to go, I took the right, and WOW! A huge sinkhole/crater filled with water! Well only half filled! At at 32,000 million litres, it's the 3rd largest fresh water hold in Australia!! Defo rally worth a visit!! Oh and it's free

Didn't stay long and just viewed it from on top of the hill.. Only viewed from one lookout point but amazing to see.. There was a trek nearby but didn't have time.. Shame you can't swim there..

The Blue Lake is a natural wonder, and it is not to be missed during your trip to Mount Gambier. During our visit, the lake was vivid blue colour - amazing. There is plenty of information provided for visitors, which is highly appreciated.

Did not expect such a brilliant colour! Is certainly worth visiting. However, parking for the look out is very difficult to get in and out of.

This is a quite extraordinary piece of water! It's really blue, even on a rainy, grey day - which meant we didn't spend much time there. Good place to run round or walk the dog!
