Description:

Temptation is a 58 foot sailing catamaran which has been doing wild dolphin...

Temptation is a 58 foot sailing catamaran which has been doing wild dolphin swims daily since 2001, in this time we have never been out on a dolphin cruise and not seen dolphins. In fact we will give you all your money back if dolphins are not seen on this cruise. Dolphins always come over to Temptation and you can stand or lay above them on our front nets. If you wish to swim, no worries (but book early to avoid disappointment) this is a totally wild experience, no feeding, no touching just viewing from within the water. Because these are wild dolphins we have strict rules to abide by (both for the safety of the swimmers and the dolphins) and sometimes it can be rushed to get the swimmers in the water and sometimes the crew do need to yell so that the swimmers know which way to look under water. If you book in for a swim and on the day change your mind, no problems we can refund the difference (direct bookings only), especially for young children who decide they don't want to swim, that way they don't need to feel forced to go into the water. Remember you will always see more dolphins from on board, but seeing wild dolphins underwater is just amazing.

Booking is done seamlessly on-line in a quick and easy manner. Instructed to gather by around 7am and i wish the company warned me about the lack option to take trams and buses to Glenelg as they start operation later on a Sunday. With no options other than a $30 cab fare, i arrived at Glenelg on time to set... More

We enjoyed a relaxing sail down the coast on a stunning day. Flat seas, no need to spill our drinks. Just veg out. You can go snorkelling if you wish, there is also a dolphin cruise with a marine biologist on board to answer questions you may have.

This has been on the must-do lost for years. After a similar trip in New Zealand was cancelled I'm really pleased we did this one. We saw a few pods of dolphins, and got to swim with them a few times. Seeing them underwater is pretty magical. The crew are all really good too, helpful, informative and enthusiastic about what... Went on the Twilight sail yesterday with a group of friends for my birthday. Phoned ahead, as the forecast was for strong winds, but was reassured and very glad we went. You may get splashed - all part of the fun! We had a blast, I'd definitely do it again. Drinks at the bar, and a nice atmosphere.

I have done this trip twice. The first time I went swimming with the dolphins and then just last week I did just the cruise, without swimming. If you really want to see dolphins up close, I recommend the cruise only. You will get a much better view of the dolphins up close if you stay aboard the catamaran.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad that you were able to join us again on-board. We agree it is pretty special seeing the dolphins so close and very clearly when doing the dolphin watch. We hope to see you again on-board. More

The swimming with dolphins was fantastic, event though it was not that easy to see them - they are in real wilderness, in their ocean, deciding whether they want to greet you or not. The stuff of Temptation was super friendly and knowleable, eager to share their experiences. One of the best things to do in Australia! Not suitable for... More
