We were staying in Coolangatta and might have missed this beautiful beach had we not hired bikes and taken the track towards Surfers Paradise. Such a huge expanse of white sand with stunning waves and not at all busy. A few coffee shops and lots of people enjoying the sunshine and walking the beach. Beautiful.

Kirra Beach, even if you don't surf, it is just worth a visit to view the great location and 'soak' up the lovely beach and ocean, a great location for just a walk along the pathway alongside the beach.

The beach itself is magnificent and huge. The Pacific ocean is... the Pacific ocean! Nice walks along the beach, for people with children, dogs and boarders. Some nice cafes and restaurants to boot! The icing on the cake, if you decide to purchase one!

Sunday afternoon and the beach was quiet and inviting. A classic beach featuring clean white sand, gentle waves and warm water I could not resist. This is a lovely place to soak up the autumn sun and enjoy the caress of the waves. We unfortunately visited at low tide which meant there were many holes that made wading difficult, but... More

Top spot for a surf or swim, but ask the friendly lifesavers on duty if in doubt. Plenty of food opportunities in immediate area, both quality restaurants & quick takeaway 7 the local surf clubs & pub are good value too.

This beach is not too busy and perfect for young children with the protection offered by the headland. I would recommend a visit to Kirra Beach if you are in the area.

Love this place, love this beach! What more can you say about a beach? The sand is nice, water looks amazing. Our hotel location was great to the beach.

Even with a junior lifesaver carnival on the place was not crowded other than it taking a while to find a parking spot. But the limited parking in itself is probably a good thing since that probably keeps numbers down. People were pleasant. The beach was clean and the water beautiful. Kirra being less developed than Coolangatta just south around... More

Absolutely love love love Kirra Beach. The water was so clear and not very salty, which allowed you to open your eyes in the water and not get sore eyes afterwards. Very clean/tidy beach. Life guards very friendly.
