We went snorkelling through Cooly dive on Oct 5th 2015. Our friend was gifted a voucher and he needed people to go with so we went. It was a gorgeous day and most of the people on the boat were scuba diving. We did the afternoon dive at 12pm and I was so glad we did as on the way... More

The staff were really helpful and a lot of fun! They made the day so much more relaxed and enjoyable. I had a great first scuba diving experience out at cook island, and even in August the wetsuits kept us nice and toasty. The dive itself only goes for 30-40mins but you have a whole afternoon out on the water... More

I was not sure what to expect snorkelling on the Gold Coast but was pleasantly surprised with this trip. My biggest concern was staying warm but the wet suits provided kept you warm, even in the Winter water temperature. The boat trip out to Cook Island was fast and the crew were friendly and diligent on safety regulations. In the... More

Dived last Sunday at Cook island with 2 other friends, what truly made this crew a standout was their willingness to help the new divers out. The divers were certified somewhere else but Mel & the crew were more than happy to help them out & spent extra time in the water teaching them to improve their buoyancy. It was... More

Making the reservation and booking was simple enough through their website! When we arrived at their pickup point they picked us up in a mini van and drove us to the scuba shop free of charge. We changed into our scuba gear and they drove us to the boat. Once we got on the boat, the instructor (I can't remember... More

I had never dived before so took advantage of Cooly Dive's 'Discover Scuba Dive' option. Absolutely fantastic. The dive master (sorry, I forget your name!) was outstanding, particularly when I initially struggled with being able to breathe underwater without freaking out! The dive was great, saw some carpet sharks, a multitude of fish and some big turtles. It was such... More

We booked a dive trip to Cook Island as I was keen to visit this marine reserve. We were told to turn up at noon, and since their new address is in South Tweed ahead, I assumed it was NSW time, but they still run on QLD time. As they explained to us, most of their divers come from QLD... More

I love snorkelling and this was great. The crew were helpful and friendly. Saw a few green turtles and many tropical fish. My girls enjoy the muffins and drinks offered. And my husband thought the best part was being lucky enough to watch a whale breaching not too far away - much better then a whale watching tour we went... More

The dive shop was well organised. I think a one tank dive and snorkel is the best bet. Not great coral but still an interesting dive with the wobbegong shark and some turtles. The dive people were fantastic but the water was freezing. You need at least a 5 mm wet suit and this was in December. I did know... More
