Snapper Rocks is a beautiful beach - enjoyed by surfers and beach goers alike. It has public toilets some picnic tables and a beautiful walkway that brings you around to Rainbow beach. It also has a local surf club where you can grab a bite to eat or sit out on their deck and enjoy a glass of wine whilst... More

This beach is patrolled and a bit more sheltered than Cooly. A nice sheltered cove but world class surfing held here as well. Stunning beach on the point, right on the NSW/QLD border. Many happy family memories here.

If you are into surfing, the sea, the outdoors, you will love this area. The views north and south of the coast are magnificent.

At the end of Rainbow Bay, you will find Snapper Rocks at the Eastern most point of Queensland and is almost right on the border of N.S.W. A very popular surf beach apart from Point Danger, but so are most of the beaches along this coastline. Parking is limited at the end of Snapper Rocks road, which led me to... More

As well as the very pretty Rainbow Bay beach which is safe for swimming for the whole family, this is one of the best surf breaks in the world, so even if you are not a surfer, you can still watch some of the world's best - compulsive viewing.

This is one of the many "musts" in the area. Fantastic views, great surfing and history of the area. Good area for walking around the coast. Can be difficult for parking at peak times but we've always been lucky. Bus tours stop there so they too think its worthwhile. Don't miss it!

Great place to surf for both beginners and elite surfers, though watch out for the crowds. It is also very beautiful. Come here every February/March to watch the best surfers in the world compete in the annual Quicksilver/Roxy pro It is the best beach on the Gold Coast in my opinion.

Iconic surf beach, Snapper is an Australian icon in the surfing world, just the view is awesome, however it is close to so many 'cool' venues.
