Under Point Danger to swim in the inlets on Snapper Rocks is a great experience. Different pools provide a contrast and safe bathing but if you can make the walk over the razor like rocks to the far inlet the experience is breathtaking- you jump into a blue crystal pool with the surging waves and the Pacific crashing over the... This area has an amazing beach and fantastic walks. The rock pools at low tide are an area that is really safe swimming for families. When there is a large surf it is a great place to just sit and watch the surfers and waves breaking over the rocks.

After spending some time up at Point Danger we walked down to Snapper Rocks below. Now I am not a swimmer nor have I ever been on a surfboard. The atmosphere on the beach and in the car park was amazing Young and old mixed and shared tips and techniques. Photographers on the beach waiting to get that perfect shot.... More

We were present during the recent surfing carnival and saw some great board riding, although the surf may have been a bit disappointing for the organisers and competitors.

This is probably my favourite place in the world. This point break is considered one of the best rights in Australia... Yes ... Its a bit crowded but once you get a wave you will fall in love instantly with this place.

Always great photo opportunities as there are always surfers out! The beach itself isnt ideal for swimming, mainly surfing, But walk around the corner to Rainbow bay beach, a stones throw away!

This is the choice of the experienced locals when the surf is rolling the best. It is a secluded beach at the furthest point of Coolangatta.

I'm a keen amateur photographer so this place ticked all the boxes for me. No one cared about me standing there taking photos - plenty of people were doing it at that time of the morning (6.30am and then again at 5.30pm). Even without my camera I would have been happy sitting there for ages just watching people go by...whether... More

Most surf breaks around here are more for long boards and mini mals, Snapper is a much faster steeper wake breaking close to the nearby rocks. The surf Club is nearby.

Good little beach here, well looked after and has all the facilities needed. Felt safer here than in Surfers, would recommend to anyone looking for a good break
