Very nice walking and swimming. aqua water, patrolled, not as built up as surfers or as crowded. The walk on boardwalks and paths is really good all the way from Kirra all the way round to the tweed river.

All the reviews before are all true This is a perfect spot for enjoying the beach, watching the surf and surfers, exploring the rock pools, spying the wildlife on the boardwalk and loosing yourself just sitting in contemplation. We were there with friends when the Roxy Pro was on so yes, it was busy but it still didn't spoil our... More

You can go within yourself just sitting on the shore and watching the waves crash against the rocks, listen to the roar of the ocean.... Or you can watch countless surfers catching the waves (many pro surfers frequent this spot!)

Multiple visits during Quicksilver & Roxy pro surf comp. Great time, weather brilliant. ..warm water and lots of people. Surf a crowded during comp weeks but still some quiet beach nooks nearby at froggy etc. Kids enjoy the rock pools. Careful of rip and sweep currents.

Our family loves Snapper Rocks. It's a great spot for surfing and also nice safe beach for the kids (Rainbow Beach).

Snapper Rocks, Greenmount, Rainbow Bay just a smidge south of Coolangatta Beach are the best beaches on the Gold Coast. Great for surfing, great for swimming and for the little ones there are a myriad of rock pools depending on the time of day and tide to safely swim and play in. Perfect for photographers with views looking north to... More

We are so lucky to have some of the best beaches in the world and Snapper Rocks is right up there, and that is why the Quiksilver & Roxy Pro Tournaments are held there...simply stunning.

We visit Snapper at least one to twice a week. A fantastic walk around the point and on a good day you can enjoy a private little protected beach out of the big winds. Great for little ones.
