Snapper Rocks visually splendid with the waves crashing on the rocks. Plenty of surfers riding the waves.

This is a beautiful spot with a history rich surf club. If you like to catch a wave, you'll have to be respectful of the locals as they can get a little angsty with amateurs and tourists. The best thing to do is grab a beer on the deck of the club and watch the surfers when the break is... More

If you walk from Coolangatta beach along this beautiful coastline to Tweed heads and Rainbow Bay, Snapper Rocks is just one of the highlights. There will invariably be at least 15 surfers playing ''çhicken'' with the approaching rocks as they compete for waves at this iconic location. If you are a surfer photographer, this is a great location to get... More

If you like to catch a good wave on a lovely beach then this is the place for you. Well at patrolled beach and also good for body surfing. Great place to relax, swim walk or jog on beautiful white sand.

One of my favourite beaches on the Gold Coast. Come here for sunset and to watch the surfers ride world class waves.

This is an extremely popular surfing beach due to the surf conditions. The Quiksilver pro surfing tour takes place here each year and attracts world class competitors. There are several rock pools, some quite safe for the young and not so young, while others need considerable care due to the surf furiously crashing on to the rocky outcrop and filling... More

Beautiful clean patrolled beaches. Not crowded like Surfers. Lots of surfers to watch. Great walking paths around the area all around Pt Danger as well. Spectacular views.

Very nice walking and swimming. aqua water, patrolled, not as built up as surfers or as crowded. The walk on boardwalks and paths is really good all the way from Kirra all the way round to the tweed river.
