We went on the" fish and chips" cruise. What a lovely way to see the river and sights. If you are lucky like we were you may even see dolphins. Just do it! Cruise in comfort.

We had a great 2 hour tour of the Hastings River on an old Chinese junk. Natalie was our friendly captain and tour guide. It was a friendly and very casual tour that is well worth doing.

We headed out on the 4:00-5:30 today (Saturday 17th May). It had been recommended by a friend and seemed like a nice way to end an otherwise car-bound day driving down from Angourie. It was ideal and a great way to see Port Macquarie with limited time. We got on board about 10 minutes before departure and managed to grab... More

Thankyou for taking the time to write your review- we appreciate the feedback. Regarding the clears- as you mentioned at this time of year it would have made it a bit chilly and we like to keep our guests warm. Our skippers are very proficient with knowing which clears need to be up and down for the prevailing conditions and... More

We took the 4-5.30 tour last Saturday, including the fish and chips. The trip was great, with dolphins playing with us around the Hastings Rv. We saw a sea eagle and enjoyed the beauty of the area. The boat was clean & in good order. Free coffee and tea was provided. The captain was friendly & knew a lot about... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review, we are glad you enjoyed your trip. I'm sorry to hear that your food was a little soggy- its not the usual feedback we receive- maybe a mis-serve that night ? However I have passed the info along to the cook. Kind Regards More

We had a three day stay in Port Macquarie and this was the best attraction we experienced. Very good value and most relaxing. The Chinese boat was built in Hong Kong in the 1970s and purrs along beatifully. I even got to steer it for a few minutes.

Did this cruise on the 9th March late in the afternoon and really enjoyed it. Good scenery along the Hastings river with a nice breeze and excellent fish and chips. I wish that I could have stayed on this cruise for longer. The only thing I would change is to add sails for the visual effect. I would highly recommend... More

The Chinese Junk is the most comfortable, relaxing way to cruise the beautiful waterways of the Hastings. The sunset cruise is the best in my humble opinion. Sit back with a glass of whatever (BYO) or partake in the complimentary tea and coffee on board. A two hour cruise with the best scenery and an informed local commentary provided by... More

Many thanks for your rave review. We always try our best and some days are more "special" than others. I believe you are now officially a "Junkie" (an affectionate term for those who been "bitten" by the junk bug :) ) We look forward to having you aboard again. More

A most enjoyable couple of hours cruising the Hastings River. A really unique experience on a beautiful vessel built for relaxation, enjoyment and fun. A great way to chill out and enjoy some drinks and nibblies (BYO) celebrating Christmas with friends (previous work colleagues. Plenty of dolphins thrilled us playing alongside the boat. A perfect evening topped off with a... More
