Coastal walking tracks are every were and when we were there the weather was perfect and we walked all over from around the surf beaches to around the coastal headlands along the river even though some of our walks were over 10 km we never got to walk all of the tracks we found that walking was a very popular... It's a fantastic walk that's not too difficult - some steps but lots of flat walking. It starts right on the edge of town and goes for about 9km south, down the coast so you can do as much or as little as you like.. Some fantastic views and we saw dolphins and whales. At times you feel a million... More

The walk from town to the hotel is along the sea which is lined with a rock wall. These rocks have been painted by individuals, families and groups to reflect their views, thoughts, feelings or experiences. It makes for a wonderful walk. You could spend hours plus the extra benifit of watching dolphins playing.

Good physical exercise while enjoying the views of the coast from Port Macquarie. The walk passes through several of Port's beaches and clifftops.

We spent a few hours discovering some of the beautiful coastal walks near port Macquarie. Our favourite is possibly Nobby's. However, they are all very good. If you have the tine, you could spend a few days exploring at leisure.

Parts of it are not for the faint of heart or those with bad knees - stairs and inclines, but really a very pleasant hike for as many or as few miles as you want. Lots of birds, lizards and just beautiful views. Remember to bring your camera and a water bottle!

Absolutely beautiful way to see the coastline. Stunning views. Mostly good paths, some gravelled areas that can be slippery. Perfect way to spend a morning. Kurds love it also.

weather was not good and too cloudy. But the view was great. The wooden track is easy to follow and enjoyable

This is a great coastal walk, especially once you get a little further from the town centre and the crowds disperse (most people seem to amble along to the skate park and back). The track goes past several beaches and up over the headland. Great views for whale watching at this time of year. I paused at the top to... More
