Absolutely beautiful way to see the coastline. Stunning views. Mostly good paths, some gravelled areas that can be slippery. Perfect way to spend a morning. Kurds love it also.

weather was not good and too cloudy. But the view was great. The wooden track is easy to follow and enjoyable

This is a great coastal walk, especially once you get a little further from the town centre and the crowds disperse (most people seem to amble along to the skate park and back). The track goes past several beaches and up over the headland. Great views for whale watching at this time of year. I paused at the top to... More

Having spent my youth in Port; I can thoroughly recommend a walk around the coastline. From talking to fisherman about their catch on the break wall, watching whales migrating not far off shore, to taking in a spectacular sunrise; a coastal walk is not only invigorating, it should prove to be a treasured memory of a vacation spent in beautiful... Port Macquarie coastal walk is truely spectacular. The walk ways are well maintained and go on for miles and miles. You get glorious views of Port's magnificent beaches and there are many, from plenty of viewing points. You can get down onto the beaches very easily to dip your toes in the ocean during your walk. A free and exhilarating... More

the walk around the waterfront is very nice and clearly very popular, offering a scenic walk along the rivers edge. The skate park and playgrounds at the end are great for families. The only downside is walking along the side of the camping grounds.

A must do when visiting Port anytime day or evening - the coastal walk provides the opportunity for a stroll, walk, power walk or jog. The locals are very friendly and the views sensational.

Very well presented walk with amazing views and beaches. First 6km all paved, last 3km through Sea Acres park gravel and a little harder going. BE WARNED Miners Beach, the last beach on the southern end of the walk is a nudist beach. It was littered with over tanned old men exposing themselves to woman and children. Who puts a... More

I'll admit when we set out on this walk I hadn't done my homework! I had no idea how long it was or the level of difficulty, which by the way is Low as long as you're fine with stairs. It is a lovely way to pass some time and see what the pristine coast of Port Macquarie has to... More

A Must do when in Port for the moderately fit. P.S. I am 55 and the walk is good. Great view and take your camera. Best in early mornings. Take your time to enjoy the scenery, birdlife and the people. It is so nice to say hi to passer-by's and have them say hi back.
