my mum did the walk and loved the views.she said it was an easy walk for her and met some locals who were friendly.
A great walk especially in the morning. The only thing that spoilt it unfortunately was all of the rubbish along the waters edge, the rubbish in the park area, and the amount of empty alcohol containers.
A paved walkway running from the town around the headland, past Town Beach, this path is edged by the breakwater along part of the way and the large stone blocks have been decorated by visitors in paint, leaving pretty, and in some cases, sad and nostalgic messages, commemorating their stay. A lovely way to see the coast.
For walking in an extremely attractive town environment, this is hard to beat. Beautiful beaches, cliffs, vegetation etc at every corner. I walked some distance beside the shoreline and there was a photogenic sight every few metres.
great walk in the morning or evening fantastic to run along great way to see the beaches... one of ports true gems
Started the walk outside of Rydges hotel in PM. Walked as far as Flynns beach where I stopped for lunch. Wonderful views & great to pass a few water points along the way, even saw 2 dolphins which was a bonus
Lovely walk along the coast! Sealed wheelchair accessible tracks with some stairs. Parts of the walk are over the beaches. Easy to do the whole walk from Town Beach to Lighthouse Beach or to do only a part of it. Cafes along the way (e.g. at Flynns Beach, Rainforest centre). Some history displays at Flagstaff and Windmill hill. Excellent views!
There's a lovely coastal walk taking you right into the town centre, although there are some steps to consider(up and down), but the views are worth it!
