Easy access from the park it is flat and you can see that it is used frequently by people in the park and local residents when training

The powers that be in Port have been very smart with their coastal region. They have been very clever with their design concentrating on creating a space that keeps all types of visitors happy. Ride, run, walk, kick a ball, take a dip, bird watch, play.

Magnificent ocean and coastal views, we were lucky enough to see and photograph a large Goanna camoflaged in the surrounding bush.

On two mornings, we walked along the flat path from The Observatory towards the Fisherman's Co-op and then under the bridge, following the path to the main road. We then did the reverse and this was a good 5km walk. There were places we could have stopped for a coffee/breakfast. It is a very popular walk, judging by the number... More

Proximity to accommodation and restaurants with great views. Option of short or long distances.Even though close to main roads in places, the walk is peaceful and there is opportunity to vary distances and outlook - breakwater, bushland, beach. The walk also encompasses different gradients so you can choose the intensity of your workout!

Beautiful ocean views all the way along the coastal walk. The path was in very good shape and easy to follow. There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this walk.

This is a must do if you are staying in Port Macquarie. Can be done in one stretch and get the public bus back, or do in little sections. Beaches, headlands, sweeping views, lookout points, rainforest, a nudie beach (but no one there when we went) and an historic lighthouse. Nobbys Beach is dog friendly as is lighthouse. Best thing... We arrived early in the day and so glad we did there was lots to see and do. We had a great day with our grandchildren aged 6 and 11, they were both entertained for the whole day :) We had visited here many years ago when our own children were these ages. I thought it might have been disappointing... More
