The river cruise is very enjoyable and interesting, with mind blowing views and a good insight of the area. The staff was as friendly as the the cruise was enjoyable. The captain wad also very informative and accommodating, providing detailed info on the area and answering questions in great detail.

For a cost of $17 per person and take your own nibbles the crew take you on a short cruise, Kids and adults can ride in the net at the rear of the boat once they have cleared the mooring area, they can state that 85% of the time you will see dolphins playing and yes we did see them... More

Expecting more of the Eco stuff but this company did not do the eco- cruise I was expecting. Nice trip though, quite a large vessel, free tea, coffee and one variety of cake, could buy wine and beer on board. Some historical information by guide but limited.

We enjoyed a very relaxing 2 hour river cruise on the Hastings River, from 2 - 4pm. It was a lovely sunny day and the best conditions on the river. There was a commentary from the Skipper on various points of interest along the way. It is a great way to see parts of Port Macquarie which you would definitely... More

My husband and I hired Port Venture Cruises for our wedding back in October. The female bridal party arrived to the riverside ceremony via the River Princess and afterwards our guests enjoyed a brilliant river cruise whilst awaiting the reception. The majority of our guests stated that the cruise was a massive highlight of the day and made our wedding... More

Went on the morning tea cruise and couldn't fault it! Beautiful weather, friendly staff, great boat, lovely scenery, Really enjoyed it. When I saw the people enjoying swimming in the boom-net, I wished I hadn't forgotten to bring my swimmers so I could join them lounging around in the water as they cruised up the river. Next time!

The 2 hour trip quickly became boring with the only things to see being a couple of dolphins in the distance, a car ferry and huge homes on the canals. Wrong to call it an eco history tour. With so much interesting history In Port Macquarie to draw on very little was mentioned. What about the convicts for a start?... More

With many options for different cruises available we chose the lunch bbq cruise. Relaxing with loads to look at along the riverbank and good commentary. Lunch was good as was the cost of this cruise. The staff are chatty and are a good asset to the trip.
