This zoo impressed me. There are quite a range of animals and its very hands on with keeper talks throughout the day. There are nice grounds to wander about in. It is a privately run zoo and all animals appear to be looked after well and have nice habitats. The wombat burrow was very interesting. You get to see the... More

Last time I visited here there really was mainly Koalas, this place has grown so much. Staff are very informative and enthusiastic about the animals they care for and answered all the questions we asked. The animals and enclosures are well kept and it was just a great afternoon wandering around the different exhibits

They keep the exhibits as close to nature as possible. Down side is it is a little bit close to the noisy highway.

We spent half a day wandering and listening to the keeper talks. The location really needs a vehicle, as it is a 600m walk from the closest bus drop off point if using public bus. The public bus is not exactly cheap either (another story). Staff were polite and enthusiastic about the animals. The up close and personal with the... More

The Billabong now have Meercats & a snow leopard added to the kangaroos & koalas etc You can pat the koalas which is a plus & see the animals at close range. Lots of lovely shade trees if the day is warm 7 the kids can explore to their hearts content.

Quite an array of animals there. The entrance fee is a bit steep. The coffee shop is nothing to write home about. The young girls working there are not very interested in anything but their mobile phones. However, once you get past all that...a most enjoyable day can be spent seeing the wildlife up close. Good photo opportunities. Try and... More

It was okay but unless you are at each attraction for show time a lot of the animals are asleep or cant be seen. feeding the kangaroos was the highlight. And cheapest food than any other tourist attraction ive been too. Worth a visit when visiting the area with kids
