Great for the Kids and Adults Too

Took the Grand Kids here and they loved it. Feeding the animals and listening to the Rangers kept them interested. There was adequate seating outside but very poor cafe.

With school in, this park was not crowded at all midweek in July, meaning we could get very close to the animals. I could see it being a less enjoyable experience if crowded, due to its small size. But we thoroughly enjoyed our day, staying until they kicked us out. We returned to the Koala enclosure several times, happy with... More

The Billabong is a great place for all to get up close to the vast wildlife on display, well laid out and continually expanding, it makes coming back more than worthwhile

This was a spur of the moment decision visit on a day when we were chasing the humpbacks. So pleased to have added this into the activities for the day. Just a wonderful way to spend a lovely hour and a half with the adult family who a photographer nuts, walking the grounds and enclosures, feeding wallabies and emus, getting... More

Went there with 2 teenagers. Smaller zoo with some kangaroos (to feed) and a few other animals. Probably ok for smaller kids, but really nothing special

My daughter's family have a yearly family pass to Billabong as there is always something new to see and experience or 'check up on'.Our 5 year old grandson always chooses Billabong as he choice of destination for an outing! Even at the busiest times of the year, there is still plenty of space for everyone

The animals are well worth the visit and money. The park definitely looks after the animals as first priority. Perhaps if they invested in some creative gardeners and some painters to spruce ups some tired looking statues and buildings it might just increase the business as people would enjoy the overall experience not just the animals.

The grand kids could hardly wait to get there and we had to be there on time to see the Meerkats being fed at 11 am. Sure enough we got there in the nick of time to see one of the rangers explaining what they eat while she fed these tiny little animals insects which was very interesting. Next was... More
