The Billabong Koala and Wildlife Park was a fun day out. Even with a bit of drizzle there were plenty of walkways to keep us dry. We opted for a snake and penguin encounter which was a lot of fun. They are building new parts of the park which look amazing, I hope they continue as the older sections need... More

I hate zoos, that is until I went to Billabong, Wow. A large number of species but a small number of each one. The Zoo is well maintained and clean and the staff so friendly. The feeding timetable is so set that you have time to walk from one feeding to the next without hurrying. All feedings have a comprehensive... More

The grandkids enjoyed the park and the pay ground. The Kangaroos were very quiet and the kids could sit and feed them. The additional options of photos were a little over prised. Overall enjoyed the day.

Spent a good couple of hours here, enjoyed the different animal presentations throughout the day. Short and informative sessions on some of the animals such as dingo, red panda, snow leopard and koala. Value for money. Good facilities and also good to be able to take own picnic.

We had a day to fill so having read the reviews decided to visit Billabong Zoo/Koala Park. Got there in time to see all the feeding times. 1st was the Fairy Penguins at 10am....followed every 30 minutes or so throughout the day- dingos, wombats, meerkats, koalas, wallabies all close up. Good day out AND Seniors Discount!

The zoo is close to town and an easy drive. Entry fee is more than reasonable and you can add on animal experiences. We fed the penguins and got to hold two of them while we learnt more about them with the keeper. All the keeper talks were very informative and worthwhile. The crocodile talk included meeting a baby crocodile,... More
