Great location just off the highway. Kids really enjoyed the park. Recommend for families to drop in and show the kids

The zoo has plenty of animals to see and a cafe and shop. For a local business they do an excellent job and help with Koala rehabilitation which is great to see. Personally I adore the Roos and Wallabies and with a little pot of corn many a happy hour can be spent in the company of these delightful little... More

We really enjoy going to the Billabong when we visit Port Macquarie, it's great as our daughter is in a wheel chair and it's easy for her to see all the animals as some of the other wildlife parks we have to get her in and out of her chair to see the animals.

We visited here whilst staying in Port McQuarrie which is a short drive away. The park is close to the Pacific Highway so is easily accessible if you happen to be driving through this area. It's not a large place but that has it's benefits as the animal presentations are easy to see and hear. It's great for native Australian... More

We recently visited with overseas visitors (father and 2 daughters, aged 11 and 9). It was difficult to decide who enjoyed it the most. Highlights include patting a koala, a dingo (Ernie) and a large number of kangaroos/wallabies. Hand feeding the kangaroos is certainly a big plus for all ages. All the animals are easily accessible for viewing and being... More

I recently took an English friend to the Billabong Wildlife Park to show him some of our amazing native animals. Mark and Brooke and all the staff at the Billabong were absolutely wonderful. We were able to pat the koalas and get close to the penguins and meerkats as well. I can not recommend this park enough. The enclosures are... More

We stopped here on our way north for a break and a wander. The kids loved it and the atmosphere was awesome. A great place to go if you want to kill a couple of hours, see some wildlife and relax.

Driving from Sydney up to Cairns, approx 20 minutes or so from Port McQuarrie we saw the roadside sign advertising Billabong Koala & Wildlife Park & decided to stop for a look around. We emerged 2-1/2 hours later completely satisfied with our experience. Highlights for me were that I got to pat a koala AND a baby crocodile. Other exhibits... More
