Great day out for the young and old.. Great to see the trainers getting involved and doing some education about the animals.. All in all money well spent.. Be sure to buy some grain on entrance, so you and your family can hand feed the kangaroos..

It's a really nice park to get close to Australian animals. Travelleres who have just been to bigger wildlife parks might be disappointed.

A great day for the kids. Lots of hands on interaction with the wildlife. Great value if you stay away from the cafe. If your on a budget pack a picnic as there are a lot of wonderful spots to picnic

Really enjoyed this park as a small zoo with a good variety of exhibits and some interactive shows with a crocodile and bird life. Very easy for seniors to walk around as flat and shaded.Staff are nice and really enjoy their work.Worth a visit and not expensive.

This is a smallish zoo but well laid out and with regular presentations of the animals. Worth a visit.

This is a really beautiful and well managed zoo. The experience was that of a relaxing bushwalk that gives the feeling of being on a pilgrimage of discovery, education and connection to the local wild life. The guides/animal carers are so welcoming, very informative and even manage to make you envy their noble jobs. Feeding the free range wallabies was... More

What a fun day!! Billabong may not be a big zoo but what great value! We loved our visit! It was a hot, sunny day but the zoo is nicely shaded, with lovely little treed walking paths to the exhibits. We live in Canada but the kids' father grew up in the area. It was awesome for the kids to... More

Our family visited the zoo while we were on holidays. We were lucky enough to be involved with many of the talks that the keepers give about the animals they care for. Our kids got up close with the koalas and the keeper was happy to answer questions (my son asked how do you become a keeper). The meerkat, dingo,... More

Enjoyable day out for anyone but especially with young children. I went with my daughters family and enjoyed the fun the grankids had feeding the animals. Renovations going on adding more animals and updating enclosures. Nice eating/picnic area.
