Love it

We love bringing the kids here. We get a yearly pass every year. So much room for them to run around. Its a great day out.

I have been to this place a total of 5 times. On 4 of these occasions, I had family visiting from overseas who wanted to be up and close to our wildlife in which they had never experienced before. The other time, I took my kids. The kids got bored quite quickly and wanted to rush through the place. The... More

We took our two toddlers to Billabong Wildlife Park today Monday 23/03/2015. They thoroughly enjoyed patting and feeding the wallabies, patting a crocodile and patting a koala. A negative was the entrance cost which we believed should have been reduced seeing as a major animal show wasn't on as we went on a weekday. Also, this is not a large... More

The park is well advertised locally and for the expensive entry fee, I was expecting a lot more. From the time you head in to the park you can tell that the day will be a disappointment. Everything is a mess, a hotch potch of clutter with everything looking about twenty years old. The park itself is spread over a... More

Not a fan of zoos but this is a small, friendly property with a café and shop and a daily schedule of activities and animal encounters which allow you to get close up to animals without stressing them or being in any danger. The schedule runs during the day from about 9.30am until about 3pm and by following the scheduled... More

Billabong Zoo is a great family or overseas visitor experience. The exhibits are displayed to a world class standard. There are a number of entertaining and educational shows each day with an up close and personal experience. You get to hold a koala, pat a dingo, touch a baby fresh water crocodile and feed kangaroos and wallabies. Children and visitors... More

Grounds need more work. Wonderful animals with special exhibits. My husband loved to visit, even when he was in a wheel-chair. We could push him most places to see and talk to birds.

After looking for things to do in Port Macquarie prior to leaving , we decided we would come here on our way home , we noticed you could have one on one encounters with certain animals , so we booked a Meercat encounter , what a wonderful experience , the keeper was very knowledgeable and the behind the scenes tour... What a great place to take the kids. The animals are well kept and the keepers are very informative. This is one of the must sees in Port Macquarie. Shame the cafe was not to the same standard.

This is a most informative attraction, suitable for all ages, we were 70's plus, 35's plus , a baby and a fascinated 3 year old...he just loved it all, no Koalas in Japan....he saw a baby Joey in its Mothers pouch...his face said everything, gazed at this for ages...he loved the play area, such a good idea for energetic young...
