Stopped in to buy for a friend, left with a dozen of our own.

I didn't know what to think of it when we pulled up, but after a few tastes and a yarn to the gentleman running the tasting, we will be back. Very friendly and good wine.

We have always popped into Peacock Hill when we are in the Hunter. Silvi and George are great hosts and we love the shiraz and dessert wines.

We have been visiting the Hunter for quite a few years now and have visited may wineries, Peacock Hill is our No1, George and Silvie make you feel very welcome and we always have a laugh. This is a beautiful boutique winery, they have wines to suit every Palette and in my opinion are the best in the Hunter. If you... More

Hosts attempt to be entertaining but really are being rude and obnoxious. Just trying a new type of trickery to buy the poor wine.

This is our pick of the Hunter Valley when it comes to wineries. A really quaint cellar door which makes you feel like you've gone back in time when the cellar door building was part of the experience. Their knowledge of wine is only surpassed by the beautiful wines. They have some amazingly deep red wines. Two thumbs up, can't... More

A very entertaining host and no doubt the wines are very easy drinking. The labels are not your traditional varietals from the hunter but I guess that's what makes this boutique producer a little special. Great to visit with a group for a few tasting and some bordey jokes....

We drove in, while we were getting off the car, person came from shop with very very rude attitude that "How can I help you? We charge you $5 per person for wine tasting." Hello?! we are here at Hunter... Why does he have to be so rude with his attitude? We just want to taste a wine and looking... More

Upon arrival, you will meet Vinnie the dog, then the friendliest most warm couple who own and operate the winery. An intimate and wonderful experience, with fine wine, and conversation. A must for any wine drinker-or not! The accommodation is beautifully clean, and of generous size. Fantastic people, and great wine, why not try the boutique providers, forget tempus2!!!! A must in the Hunter.

A friend and I went on a wine tasting tour and visited this vineyard. We had the most fun and laughs at this tasting. Silvi was such a lovely down to earth vineyard owner I have ever meet. Her wines were really nice too. If you want to go and have a tasting at a vineyard with none of the... More
