Walked into the tasting room and it was packed and considered leaving but immediately one of the staff called us over and found a place for us to taste. She organised the price lists and nothing was too much trouble for the young lass that came and attended to our queries. This winery is always on our "must go to... More

Having the cellar door on the Cypress Lakes entrance open late is a GREAT idea!

Excellent wines and helpful staff. Particularly enjoyed the shiraz and the dessert wines.

I've done a couple of tastings at Brokenwood now as part of tours and recently joined their Cru Club as I love their wines - particularly the Late Picked Semillon. Everytime I have been there for tastings, the staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable and their wine is always delish! Can't wait to go back.

I personally found some of the wines quite ghastly and carrying a brutal price tag. I was not impressed but then if you don't make excellent wine then I won't like it.

On a warm day, tasting white wine that has been out of the fridge all day is never a good thing. By the time we got to the Reds we had lost interest ... This was the only winery we visited where i didn't buy anything

great wines, went to buy a bottle of the brokenwood cricket pitch white, but ended up walking out with seven. The staff there are great, and very friendly, and sweet talked me into a good deal for this easy drinking wine! Easy, flat access for those in a wheel chair! highly recommended! ben
