To many, there would be no Hunter without Brokenback.
It was a forerunner of the quality that was achievable - wine has changed dramatically over the years but the quality that we know today is due in no small way to the original partners and winemakers of Brokenback.

Such helpful staff at the Cellar Door - my favourite winery in the Hunter (and we did a lot!!) Lovely big glasses for the red tastings too which added a 'premium' feel. We were very looked after!

Knowledgeable staff, and lovely wine but I was very disappointed to find the same bottle of Brokenwood Shiraz $10 cheaper in a Sydney bottle store. Why should I pay more when going direct to the source?!!!

As usual, this place keeps on making great wines. The cellar door is quaint and service fantastic. I loved the ILR Semillon.

We visited Brokenwood on 14 April, 2012 for their "Winemaker for a Day" event.
We had the most incredible day - we got to try many wines, ate some amazing food and had loads of fun.
I have loved Brokenwood wines for many years and to be able to visit and enjoy an occasion like this was just fantastic. Please...

We got married here at Brokenwood 10 years ago because it was our favourite winery. Our experience today reminded us why it is still the best. We had the most amazing day at their "winemaker for a day" event and were spoilt with some beautiful food and even better wine.
