These gardens are worth a look. Entry fee seemed a bit high but once we had finished our visit we decided it was worth the fee. A very pleasant way to spend an hour or two even though winter is probably not the best time to visit - ideally spring would be best, of course

Well I was surprised by the amount of shops in this area. They even had Aqua Golf. Unfortunately I did not have time to check out the shops, but by judging by the crowds it is very popular

We bought two individual cookies - one "chunky dunky" and one "red velvet" for about $7. The chunky dunky suggests there would be numerous chocolate chunks, but no, just the one on the outside. The red velvet was very sweet, much sweeter than what I am used to in red velvet cupcakes. These biscuits were too sweet for our taste,... More

The gardens are amazing. What you see is obviously seasonally dependant, however there is always something to see, and it's not just for the adults. There are some (one in particular) areas the kids will love. Bring your walking shoes, it's a big place. I'd recommend at least 3 hours minimum if you plan to see it all. It's worth... More

Although cooler weather, the gardens were still spectacular, with colourful foliage to make up for lesser amounts of flowers. We spent 2 hours wandering, then stopped at their restaurant for coffee. Can recommend it !

Great activity for school holidays - also went to the Hunter Valley Zoo on the way there and ate at the local restaurants

Looking for something special to do with the kids in the school holidays, we decided to go to hunter valley gardens for the snow time fun. We were not disappointed we saw the ice sculptor display, watched the Siberian huskies Racing, built. Snowmen, played snowball volleyball. We didn't get to ice skate as there was a 4 hour wait but...
