Great time riding bikes around zoo. Many of the animals had babies, including a new hippo and giraffe. The kids had a great time.

I can't say enough about this zoo. With its wide open spaces, beautiful parks with ample picnic tables for a self catered lunch & not feeling rushed or pushed around by the crowds like other zoos. 2 days here and you can see it all comfortably. Nice and flat to ride the bikes and walk. The animals are a sight... More

Book your tickets to feed the giraffes at 10am, its cheap compared to taronga zoo and the kids love it, great memories. If you are lucky like us you might see some wallabies near the picnic area. Otherwise the petting zoo has a few ones that let you touch them very easily. The playground at the end of the park... More

My family rode our bikes around the zoo for two days in Sept. We had perfect weather and were able to see most animals. The second day we were able to take things more slowly and sat and watched the animals for some time before scooting off, which was very nice. The extensive dirt tracks for bike riding throughout was... More

Had no real expectations visiting the zoo but was surprised by the professionalism of the layout, exhibits and free talks. Would definitely suggest a great trip for kids.

Such an amazing zoo, with something for everyone. Best way to get around is on a bicycle and have you own awesome picnic lunch in one of the wonderful settings provided. I look forward to my visit each year.

I'm not sure why attractions aren't geared for school holidays and look at a more efficient process at entry point during peak times. We had pre-paid for our tickets including an animal experience, thinking therefore there would be a pre-paid line as it's school holidays, but we still had to line up for 30 mins with every other family in... A good 2 day outing to see animals in a more natural setting. Kids loved using their binoculars. Felt good to know our fees were also contributing to their conservation.

They put 100$ for the room on hold for A DAY they reckon. One week later, no answers, no call backs, no MONEY!! Worse yet they denied they had a hold, i had to really encourage the lady on the phone to look into it further. I dont feel like they care, they've just patronised me the whole time. Its... More

We loved riding around the zoo with our 3 and 6 year old. Fed the giraffes, lovely picnic spots, great keeper talks. Spent a full day and a half there. Brilliant!!
