I went there with my family & friends in December 2011. We drove from Sydney, it was very hot over there, probably not the best season to visit Dubbo. There is no place of attraction in Dubbo apart from the gaol & zoo. I was looking forward to visit the zoo and thought it would be amazing, but I was...

Lots to see. Allow plenty of time to walk around. Easy enough to walk all over. Taking the car around was probably more cumbersome as someone always had to walk back to collect it and move it to the next bay, which doubles the walking!! Cycling is a good option.

This is a fabulous zoo, you can drive your own car or hire electric carts or bikes, use your bikes or walk. The animals all seemed so happy, the enclosures just beautiful and it seems that you are very close to the animals. The entrance cost is a two day pass and if planning a trip, make sure you allow...

I am in love with the Giraffe's, I could almost reach out and touch them. Amazing. The African Dogs were fantastic. I have visited quite a few zoos in my time, and it was nice to see the animals in spacious paddocks looking relatively happy for animals held in captivity. Driving through the zoo was great too. You could park...

Getting through the zoo was a lot easier because you are able to drive through it, stop the car and walk to the animals. This allowed us to rest our legs and consequently we got to see all the animals. The animals in this zoo appeared to be more happy than that of other zoo's, probably because they had a...

Having not been to the Zoo in over 25 years, we were very impressed by how nice the Zoo was and the quality of the facilities. The Zoo pass is valid for 2 days and you are free to drive, walk or ride around the Zoo at your own pace.
Feeding the giraffes is a must do. These magnificant creatures...

The ticket price is exceptional value as you can get a free day but you have to use it the following day.
My son and his friend rode their bikes around the park and even tho they really enjoyed it the rest of us stayed in the car. There are various car parks all over the park so you can...

Never been to Dubbo before and our friends took us here. Fantastic place. Not a 'zoo' as such but more of a safari park. Big and open. You can drive round, park up and walk to areas to see animals. There are also bikes and buggies to rent. Everything looks very natural. Monkeys were fascinating to watch swinging around and...

We arrived at the Zoo at 9.00am walked until 1.00pm- had lunch at one of the picnic areas. The grounds are clean and watching the animals being fed was a fantastic experience. Worth every penny, and you can use your pass over 2 days- fantastic value. You can walk, take your own bike, hire a bike or hire an electric...
