Great way to have a zoo laid out with the road being slightly higher than the exhibits with mainly subtle fencing so it feels like there is nothing between you and the animals. I would definitely recommend following the talks on your way around as zoo staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! I am very glad that the only time... More

Some excellent animals with well informed keepers and lots of space for them to run about. The option of driving around and parking up at each pen is a nice idea for those who don't want too much of a trek. You can walk around in about 3hrs and have a good look at everything, so don't be discouraged by... More

The zoo is everything it's cracked up to be. We chose to drive our car around and were pleased to see that there is ample parking at all of the exhibits. The range of animals is amazing with viewpoints from many angles. It is pleasing to see animals that aren't in cages or behind concrete enclosures, rather, in as natural... More

It's a beautiful zoo to stroll around or bike around. Well planned with lots of places to rest or have a picnic. Great range of animals, sometimes hard to spot but that's what you get when animals are more free to wander.

Zoo was not as big as what we first thought. However it was very educational ,you get to learn a lot about hippos and giraffes ( they have a lot of them ) if you go early in the morning to can get to see all the animal feeding at allocated times . Truly amazing. The road within the zoo... More

Fabulous day, worth every cent! Took own bikes & picnic. The cafe & staff are great. Make sure you go back for the 2nd day which is included, you will be sure to see something new each time.

My mum & I spent the night at the zoo and amazing doesn't even come close to explaining how good the stay was. The zoo is one of the best I have ever been too the animals are in big open spaces which makes us know the animals are really looked after, and to have options to get through the... More

The zoo is one of the finest of its type. Short time visitors can enter for free and use the dining facilities and watch the monkeys and kids zoo. To see the entire facility will take two days but even one day reveals so much of the wildlife in a near natural habitat, Large cats to little meerkats, Five kinds... More

Its a great zoo to go visit with the kids. It was so exciting for them to be on the bikes exploring the park (and a good workout for mum & dad too!) The variety of animals was good - all African-style safari enclosures. If you are after a large number & variety of animals in a small space, stick... More

There are so many wonderful animals of all kinds to see at the Zoo - lots of new baby animals as well. You can hire a little cart that you drive around the zoo so that's very good for any older people who can't walk too far and also for smaller ones who get tired quickly. A wonderful place for...
