We visited the centre while visiting Broken Hill to give the kids a bit of an educational boost about life in the 'outback'. The show was a little confronting for our kids - sick people, glimpses of a birth and the like - but I think it did them some good (our kids are 5, 7 & 10yrs). I wouldn't... More

We were totally impressed with the work these people have to perform. If I were wealthy, I would be donating a substantial amount to help. My donation as a humble worker was to purchase several items from the shop

This is one of the best attractions I have ever been to. Very knowledgable and witty presentation by very dedicated volunteers. Fascinating to learn of the great work the RFDS does. Some real characters highlighted. Please Mr Govt give this organisation more $$$ support.

We found this on Tripadvisor and took our 6 & 4 year olds with us. The visitor centre is opposite Dubbo City airport and is brilliantly set up. you can see though windows into the RFDS aeroplane hanger. For a very modest entry (donation really ~ $4 adults, $1 kids) you can view a short film, lots of posters, equipment... More

I visited this place on their Open Day. It was for free but a small donation is appreciated. They had a plane inside the hanger that you could check out and a plane outside the hanger too. The volunteers were super friendly. They had a stage show if you wanted to watch what RFDS do. They sold merchandise which looked... More

I love the older, passionate volunteer staff at the RFDSVC. This place is very well run and is an excellent place to learn. The shop is also very well stocked. A great place to spend money to help support this NGO.

We called in after a day at the zoo. The volunteers working there were very friendly and welcoming. It was interesting to find out how this service really works and to see the history of how it started. Great value compared to other attractions in Dubbo.

Family of three. Our eight year old was intrigued. Great value, run by highly dedicated volunteers who have a great passion for the RFDS. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, learnt a lot and highly recommend a visit to this for all visitors to Dubbo.

I've always been fascinated by the flying doctor service and the amazing work they do in Australia, so when we came to dubbo it was high on my to visit list. Our guide was fantastic and answered our million and one questions with full and interesting answers. She showed us a map of the area serviced by the dubbo base,... More
