Beautiful Drive

Lovely drive, lots of waterfalls to interrupt the journey. No petrol or cafes though between Grafton and Ebor Falls

Unfortunately we experienced this road on a wet day. As a result we saw two separate cars that had lost control on the slippery and winding downhill road. Would have been scenic on a fine day, as we have seen it before. Not really suitable when towing a caravan.

Great drive through the forest from Armidale to Dorrigo. Ebor falls walk manageable with children and elderly. Great information centre at Dorrigo with a wide range of souvenirs (I picked up a beautiful smoky quartz necklace). The skywalk at Dorrigo was very short but very beautiful. The kids enjoyed taking a selfie using the camera post provided with the rainforest... More

Had no idea this drive was so spectacular, despite taking the New England Highway from Brisbane to Sydney numerous times. A friend suggested we take the detour down to Coffs via the waterfall way...and it was well worth the trip: mountains abound with waterfalls, lush green gorges and amazing views down to the coast. We went fairly rapidly along the... More

As a biker we travel some great roads. This is one of them. Great sights, great to ride / drive. Can be heavily policed, stop at Ebor for a coffee with the locals. Head into Dorrigo or down to Coffs Harbour, a very good route to take.

I feel conflicted bringing this wonderful drive to peoples attention, because I love enjoying it with as little traffic as possible. After all you don't want to be navigating lots of curvy bends in traffic, especially when you are trying to take in magnificent landscape and waterfalls! You can drop into the beautiful Dorrigo National Park and a few other... More

Had a wonderful drive along Waterfall Way, the scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Wollomombi Falls were quite small, great view it would be after a heavy rain. Overall great drive, definetely worth the trip

Dorrigo Rainforest, fantastic. Dangar and Ebor falls also great. Unfortunately due to the state of the roads 9don't have a 4WD and turned back after a very short attempt at both) we didn't get to experience Cathedral Rock or Point Lookout. Would not suggest trying in a rental unless its a 4WD.

This road between Armidale and Bellingen/Coffs Harbour is one of the most scenic roads in New South Wales. There are a number of very nice waterfalls that are all not very far from the through-road, Like the Wollomombi Gorge and waterfall and the Upper and Lower Ebor Falls. The village of Dorrigo is on this road with its Sky Walk... More
