This was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives. That is a compliment to the Track Company and their brilliant guides and hut staff, as well as some of the most beautiful, gob smacking, New Zealand scenery. The knowledge of the guides about the history, flora and fauna was enthralling. The food was to die for, snacks, lunch,... More

This 3-day walk was very well organised and our every need was provided for en route. We were well briefed the night before departure and we were able to borrow packpacks and waterproofs. All the staff were excellent. Our walking guides, Dino and Sarah, were highly professional and ensured our safety at all times. Sleeping accommodation was basic but spotlessy... More

This 3 day trek was perfect - the most challenging part happens on the first day and your sense of accomplishment boosts you through the next two days. Plus it's a different experience each day - different forests, beach, jet boating, plane (or heli) ride....Lovely accommodations, great food and most importantly, excellent guides. I learned a lot and really enjoyed... More

We walked the Hollyford Track Guided walk. If you do this walk make sure you start from Te Anau. This will make your first day easier and give you an extra two hours sleep in. If you have any niggling injuries walking poles are great. Don't be afraid to use them. It was a wonderful experience with excellent guides. We... More

We walked the Hollyford Track on a guided group - Gl amping (glamour tramping) which meant 3 course beautiful meals, warm, comfortable accomodation and minimal pack carrying. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the country and it was a priviledge to visit it. I was not as fit as I had thought so the first day was a bit... More
