3 days and 60 km (38 miles) of trekking on the Hollyford Track in the Fiordland National Park in New Zealand. Beautiful trails, great lodges and really nice people: Phil and Liz, David and Sam, Travis, and especially our guide Moosh. Just a fantastic team and organisation (and food!!) which made the experience so special. I should mention that being... More

A wonderful guided 3 day walk in the natural environment of Fiordland National Park by a very well organised company. Transport by bus from Te Anau (or Queenstown) was efficient with a good briefing there on the evening before. A long walk in for 19.5 km on the first day through beautiful temperate rainforest but as it is along the... More

We walked this track as a guided walk late November. What a wonderful trip. There is no beating the stunning scenery in Fiordland - and the guides and organisation for this tour are first rate. Thanks Mush and Kahu. The first day is about 19kms so you need to have good endurance for this and you do need to carry... More

Never thought I would ever see such beauty all in one place! There were places on this guided walk that were only accessible by boat and aspects that could only be truly appreciated from the air. The Hollyford experience allows all of this - the organisation was fantastic. All of the team from admin, lodge staff, guides appear to have... More

We did this trip in mid-November, it was a truly awesome experience and while we had some rain along the way it all added to the beauty of our surroundings. I really enjoyed learning about the history of the area and the stories about the early pioneering settlers where great. Our guides Bard and Tex were superb along with the... More

Hollyford Track is a fairly easy walk, 1st day fairly long, but no steep hills to climb. Went on a guided tour, a very informative guide and comfortable lodges at the end of the day. Varied surroundings, bush, lake and beach.

1) Scenery is unbelievable. 2) Wildlife (penguins and seals) a bonus. 3) The company that runs the tours is very professional. 4) All staff were excellent - guides, drivers, cooks in the Lodges - cannot be praised highly enough. 5) The 3 day walk was a challenge, but very worth the effort. We had a 60's something gentleman with a... More

This was an extraordinary experience - the flora, fauna, landscape, the company on our walk, the guides and the accommodation and facilities were truly 5 star not only by tramping standards but by most others too! What makes it special is the remoteness, and the use of jetboats and helicopters to get you into and out of the place you... More

So many others have reviewed this wonderful walk - and yes, it is New Zealand at its very best! Still in awe from the three days we spent at the track and the two nights at the lodges - and what a fantastic experience it has been! Made even more special by the two guides, Graham and Crystal, and the... More

This is full immersion into the splendour and wonder of outdoors New Zealand - a guided walk taking you into the midst of the most beautiful place you could imagine. If you do one outdoor thing in NZ, do this. It is clear the guides love the place, as they impart stories and tales of natural and human history with... More
