This is full immersion into the splendour and wonder of outdoors New Zealand - a guided walk taking you into the midst of the most beautiful place you could imagine. If you do one outdoor thing in NZ, do this. It is clear the guides love the place, as they impart stories and tales of natural and human history with... More

It was fabulous, way above my expectations. And capped off by a spectacular flight through the mountains (the coastal route was stormy) over to Milford Sound. The food was excellent, the guiding outstanding, and the levels of service and care provided were well above average. An interesting historical and heritage area as well as a unique set of environments and... More

Amazing trip. Guides were phenomenal. Their knowledge of local history, flora and fauna made it an exceptionally interesting trip. The meals were sensational and lodge hosts seemed to genuniely love their jobs and so welcoming. Chopper ride at the end was awesome. Who do this track independently if you can afford it to do it in absolute sytle I say!!

This was probably the best part of our holiday in New Zealand despite heavy rain on one of the days. In fact, after the first 'shock' we thoroughly enjoyed wading through rivers without feeling in the least cold. Everybody was happy, the natural environment is amazing, the guides experienced and very kind, and the couples who looked after us at... More

What a lovely trip. The guides were lovely people and full of local knowledge and folklore and the scenery was spectacular. The walk was easier than I had anticipated. The huts and food exceeded my expectations. The solitude of the area was wonderful. I recommend this walk to anyone who loves the outdoors and has medium fitness.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire three-day experience. Our guides were full of interesting information about the flora and fauna; the Maori and European history of the area and were on hand to help and answer questions. We were given the opportunity to have some solitude on the track if we wished to feel at one with the bush and history.... More

This was a well organised trip along a decent track, suitable even for the 'older hiker'! The lodges were good, with Martins Bay having the better room layout. The food was excellent - salmon & venison!! The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. The overall experience on the Hollyford Track merits a high rating in my view. BEFC, Wellington

A wonderful walk in the NZ wilderness with very knowledgable and personable guides. The accommodation and food were fantastic. Really enjoyed the company of the guides and fellow walkers. Beautiful countryside including bush and coast. Loved the seals.
