Nice boat trip across lake te anau to the caves then a walk and tinny cruise through the caves finished with a video about the glowworms and Takahe bird and then a cruise back.
Perhaps the video should have been first before the glowworm cave trip as you get some understanding of what you would be about to see. Seems...

We loved the boat trip across Lake Te Anau at sunset and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the Glow Worm Cave tour. It was a one-of-a-kind experience and one we're very glad we did miss.

Read on www.glowwormcaves.blogspot.com about glow worm caves, and it really aroused my curiosity. We went last week and it was a great experience! The glow worms were so cute! The kids enjoyed it thoroughly, and we had a picnic afterwards so it made for a great day. I recommend the visit to anyone.

We did like this but it was a very short boat ride. I would recommend doing the black water rafting into the Waitomo Glowworm Caves instead unless you prefer to not row yourself.
