Me and a friend did the Routeburn track in 2 days in January (Flats -> the Divide), camping in Lake Mackenzie. The weather wasn't by any means perfect with strong winds and heavy rain clouds, but nevertheless the experience was truely fantastic and the nature is absolutely stunning. The logistics with the car relocation was perfectly managed by Easyhike.

Fantastic views and huts on the track very well appointed. Enjoyed the talk at the McKenzie Hut - the ranger has a great sense of humour. It is worth taking the time to go up Conical Hill the views were fantastic. We were extremely lucky with the weather as it was fine and warm the whole 3 days.

Great variety of terrain on very well maintained trails. Most recommendations were to take three days and two nights to complete the hike. As experienced hikers who have completed several long-distance hikes, we could easily have done this in two days (and some people do in one day). We had long hours in the huts to try and keep warm,... More

A well maintained track and huts made this track a challenging but enjoyable family experience (our youngest was 12yo)

We did this trek over Christmas, which meant booking it in August. We chose to do it from the Divide to the Routeburn Shelter, which is the way the guided tours go, and in my view an excellent choice in terms of the terrain and the views. We had a group of four adults and three children (aged 10 and... More

We walked the Routeburn track over 3 days. Very beautiful scenery, especially going through the valley from Routeburn Falls hut to Harris saddle. We were lucky to have 2 sunny days. We used Easyhike car relocation service so that it was very convenient to pick our car up at the end of the track. It was better than getting a... More

Very nice hike, easy paced over 3 days, could do it in 2 or even 1 if you push. Weather may be hit or miss, but with rain comes an unbelievable number of beautiful waterfalls. Huts are well stocked with wood and coal so the nights are too cold.

My wife and I started and completed the Routeburn trek. We are outdoor enthusiasts, and enjoyed this 3 day trek. Being from the Northwest (in the US), we have hiked a lot and found this trek to be very enjoyable. It had a lot of varied terrain, starting out on a river valley trail, and from there took off up... We ( a group of four adults and one teen ) did the walk from Glenorchy to the Divide with fabulous weather, we were really lucky. Words cannot describe how beautiful this walk is. The forests and waterfalls just took my breath away. I did not have a lot of faith in myself doing this walk, I surprised my self!... More
