On a very wet afternoon in a crowded cinema watched Shadowlands half hour film. As we had front centre seats it was like being the pilot on the chopper taking the film. It was good to see what we had missed due to wet weather obliterating the fab scenery all around us. well worth seeing. get a dollar off voucher... More

A great film from the helicopter of Fiordland on a big screen, awe inspiring. Would definitely watch again if I visit Te Anau again.

We visited the cinema just after the last showing , however the cafe was still open. We ordered a coffee and asked about the opening times of the cinema. "Go in and sit down" We were told, "We'll run it for you" We sat in the cinema and watched the film, coffee on a table at our side and were... More

Wow what a film the music and scenery are incredible. The opening scene made you feel you were falling off a water fall. No commentary just scenic views set to music. Most comfy cinema seats ever. To think someone thought so much of the fiords they built a cinema to show this film. Well worth the entrance fee.

This small but perfectly formed cinema in the heart of Te Anau is a "must do" experience. Relax in the plush armchair type seats, order a wine, a coffee or a snack and settle back to enjoy the movies. For a spectacular view of the magnificent Fiordland scenery in all it's moods be sure to see the short film, Ata... More

There was heavy cloud cover on the cliffs of Milford Sound when we took the tour (although still amazing), so this movie showed us up close what we missed. What photography!

We saw this show on our first day in Te Anau and really enjoyed it. The scenery is literally amazing and awe-inspiring. It is a wonderful idea to combine the cinema with the wine bar and to be able to walk into the showing with a chilled glass of wine is a great touch. At no time did we feel... More
