This 30 minute film shows many aspects of Fiordland National Park through the seasons. I found it stunning to see the aerial shots of both the Fiords and the surrounding mountains. Apart from the scenery you save some of the native wildlife, some climbers and a cray boat - gave you great perspective on how vast the area is. Do... More

Only went to the cinema because it was a cold wet day but couldn't have been more surprised. The seats are really large and comfortable, and you can take a glass of wine in and enjoy a truly spectacular 30 minute film of some of the best scenery in Fiordland. The staff are really friendly and give you a brief... More

This lovely small theater plays a 30 minute film of aerial views of Fiordland several times each day. The film was truly first class with incredible footage. Well worth your time to see parts of this incredible area that you just can't usually see.

What can you say...this is the most comfortable cinema I have ever been to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can order refreshments and they deliver to you in your seat. Its a smaller cinema with approx. 50 seats but they are wide comfortable seats.

We were travelling to begin the Hollyford walk and met our guides here at the cinema. We didn't watch the film about Fiordland because we were going to experience it 1st hand. The staff at the cinema and adjacent bar are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the Fiordland Pinot noir 2013.

Loved the leg room and the quaintness of this cinema as it only sat 50 people. We had a cup of tea and a snack which was brought to us and could sit comfortably in a little table beside your chair

Having experienced a 'trip of a lifetime' recently by driving throughout the magnificent South Island we topped our trip with a visit to the Fiordland Cinema to watch the half hour film of what the area has to offer (by air) and were not disappointed. We bought the DVD so we could see it again, it was so good. Words... More

We visited the cinema before going to Milford sound. This allowed us to understand that we are not even scratching the surface of what is being offered throughout the area. The photography and camera work certainly allows you to be awed by the spectacular views you are afforded whilst watching the film. An excellent way to understand the region in... More

Thanks so much Steve... Fiordland is absolutely immense and the desire to show our guests what they could never see without a helicopter was a big inspiration for making the film. So thank you, we are so pleased that this was the effect it had for you. More

On our fourth trip to Te Anau we finally made it to this cinema to see the scenic half-hour film of the Fiordland area. It's certainly worth a look and gives a series of panoramic views over the wilderness in different seasons, with a stirring soundtrack. Not expensive and a budget alternative to flying in a helicopter yourself! Especially if... More
