a nice ride across lake te anau to the glow worm caves in an awesome boat. we went at night so missed out on the scenery of the lake. the caves were awesome the formations made from the water flow are other worldly and being in the dark in the grotto of the glow worms is very cool. highly reccommend... more

I definitely recommend going on the Doubtful Sound instead of the Milford sound cruise if you just need to pick one. The Doubtful sounds are larger and you won't be in a procession of boats.
