This is an excellent trip, well organised with plenty to see and do. The team are all great and very knowledgeable. Opportunities for swimming and getting of the boat onto tenders are also good. I would thoroughly recommend this trip as there are some near magical moments. The crew all work very hard but still have time for guests.

This was such an awe inspiring tour. We had a beautiful calm day on the way to cross the lake and our guide (Young Michael ) was polite and knowledgeable in showing us the caves. Great to see a young person loving their job and doing it well.

I was really looking forward to this cruise but found it wasn't as good as we expected. Maybe it was because we had come via the west coast and had already seen spectacular scenery? We booked the "Milford Sound Scenic Cruise" that left at 11am. There were a lot of people around but it wasn't overly crowded. NB: Make sure... More

Spectacular day. The boats used were first class - large, comfortable and great amenities. We travelled the full length of Doubtful Sound out to the mouth with the Tasman Sea. This provides a great perspective of the area. Stunning views, informative commentary and great photo opportunities. Highly recommend.

We have just come back from a one night cruise on Milford Sound. It was extremely well organised. Staff worked really hard at making the trip as memorable as possible. The boat isn't overly large so it's quite intermit. The room has a double bed en-suite, great views & hairdryer. You leave at 4.30 stop about half hour into the... More

The overnight trip on Doubtful Sound was a wonderful option to get to see some of the best that Fiordland has to offer. The crew on board are great and the food is plentiful and tasty (additional snacks are certainly not needed). The option for kayaking or a nature boat trip is a nice way to get to explore some... We booked an overnight kayaking trip as our splurge of the three week holiday for our family of four. In retrospect, we should have spent even more to stay on boat. It rained so hard I could barely see on day 1, and we set up our tents in the rain so I was wet for 24 hours. An inexpensive... More

We went on Milford and Doubtful Sound tours with Real Journeys. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose the Milford trip just due to the beautiful journey to and from. Definitely bring your camera and a sandwich or whatever treats you like. They do serve free coffee on the boats which is nice. The sites were... More

There is a reason this company have the best rating for their Milford Sounds cruise. From booking to the actual cruise this company was fantastic. The boat was a traditional ship which felt proper given the majesty of the surroundings she sails in! And the commentary by Blair was outstanding. This was a massive highlight to our trip and we...
